I am a newbie and am considering contacting a provider on RS2K assuming this is the safest bet.  However I have a few questions....are these providers "verified" not to be LE?  What if this provider doesnt have any reviews and states on the providers personal wed site that no reviews will be accepted?  Is that a red flag?

RS2K verifies both the hobbiest and the provider.  Often existing RS2K gents will vouch for a provider they have seen.  Otherwise they rely on other sources.

As for ladies who do not want reviews, I cannot speak for them.  It could be that they had bad reviews in the past, it could be that they were banned from TER or it could be that they prefer that your encounter be personal.  Your guess is as good as mine!

Yes everyone is verified. No they are not foolproof.

However, I don't think LE would go through the trouble and expense to get verified as a lady to set up a sting.

That's not to say that they don't bust a lady (who is RS2K verified) and use her to setup a sting. I'm not saying that they have ever done it. I'm just saying it is a more likely possibility.

If you can't find a review, then you have to be careful. I was looking for reviews on Ashley Evans. I know she has been escorting, but there are none to be found. Sometimes the ladies like to lay low.

Red flag? Maybe. You just have to be cautious. RS2K is just one way to get comfortable (for you and her).

After hearing so much about RS2K I decided to go check it out, and noticed a whole 4 ladies listed there for MN. So I don't think I will be bothering with signing on to RS2K at all.

and P411 is primarily a Texas thing, but seems to be growing. I'm not sure what Date-check is.

I've heard so much about RS2K and don't know if I'm missing something here. This is a place where you give your personal info that identifies you as you. That way each side will know you are who you say you are. But doesn't that make RS2Ks database the ultimate "D.C. madam" black book for LE? And wouldn't it make sense for them to get their hands on that database through a court order? Tell me what I'm missing here, as I've going back and forth on wheather to signup or not.

When I joined RS2K, I gave them my work (and maybe home) info. She called me at work. We chatted discretely.

Once RS2K has verified you, they don't retain your information other than:

name, city/state on DL, phone number (one you will use to call the lady)

That is how the ladies verify you through RS2K.

They dont keep any information except for:

"name, city/state on DL, phone number (one you will use to call the lady)"

What else would they need other than your name and DL number....SO in short they do keep your information.

Additionally, when data gets erased from a computer it does not always get erased it CAN be recovered!!

I said "city/state on DL". You don't ever give them your DL #.

When you use RS2K, part of the process is the lady checks the name, city, state on the DL to prove that you are the guy RS2K verified. You also have to call the lady from the phone listed with RS2K. Again, so the lady has comfort that you are the guy that RS2K verified.

I know that deleted data can sit around forever. I would rather hope that one piece of data used for a short period of time is overwritten by RS2K, rather than giving that same sensitive data (employer, etc.) to every lady you try to meet.

Hopefully RS2K employs some type of data wiping security, just in case.

You can't get around someone knowing who you are. You can minimize who gets the really sensitive info (employer, etc.).

If you are really paranoid, it is possible to use Meet and Greets with a lady to get her comfortable with you without disclosing anything about your self, other than your phone # and e-mail (you can even use a pseudonym). If you use a pseudonym, don't count on referrals because most ladies will want to check ID for referrals - again to prove you are who you say you are.

It is also no crime for your name to be found in a black book.

Yes the cops can hassle you, but unless they have evidence (like time, location, pictures)they have no idea if your adventure was pay-for-sex, or merely the actions of consenting adults.

But for some of us "high profile" hassle by the LE is all it takes to really mess things up.
