In most cases I see no need to get on ones case for asking the question. The way I see it is there may be one or more people who are new to TER but not new to the hobby or the subject of the question and that person may be able to shed new light upon the topic or it could be than some members just did not have the chance to post in the past So reasearch is good but I think it should be kept in mind that there can alwaya be a new way of seeing an old thought/answer to the Previously Asked Question.
Just some simple reminders of the rules of the newbie board:
This is a safe and sane place to learn about the TER and the hobby, to ask questions and receive advice, and place for some good fun banter among fellow travelers. So please keep in mind these simple rules:
Newbies - - There are several topics that come up frequently (LE, CL, STD's references, etc.). More than likely, your question has been asked and answered recently. Please read through a page or two before posting. If you don't find what you are looking for, then feel free to ask. - For the most part, the advice given here is the conventional wisdom of the hobby. No one say you have to follow the advice you receive, but it really does little good to argue over it.
Ladies - - The participation of the gals is not ONLY welcome, it is encouraged and valued. - New gals are welcome to introduce themselves and ask questions. - Experienced ladies, you may want to keep an eye on this board - it is your opportunity to help shape the expectations, and conduct, of your future clients.
What doesn't belong on this board? - Ads - Shills - ISO - "in search of" posts - Discussion (either positive or negative) of a specific provider or agency
Keep these in mind. Your messages will have a better chance of reaching the board, and we all will have fun!
