I've only found a provider on TER once (about three years ago). I'm currently on a short business trip that happens to coincide with my birthday so I decided to give it another go. Unfortunately, I didn't plan ahead and came up with a total blank - nobody responded. So, against my better judgement I went on backpage and texted someone with an ad up there - age 32.

Everything about the interaction seemed pretty straightforward, and she's supposed to be coming to my hotel in about four hours (first thing in the morning). I talked to her on the phone and she sent me some nudes with her face showing that look like they match her ad. She did tell me how much the donation was via text, but I didn't think too much of that since it wasn't in her as and I guess she had to tell me somehow. We didn't discuss at all what we're going to do, beyond "hang out".

But, I'm remembering the last provider I saw and how I had to do this whole verification process. And I couldn't find any reviews of her on TER. So now instead of excitement all I can think about it the backpage stings I've read about in the news.  

Am I being too paranoid? I don't think they would do a sting to my room at a high end hotel, but would they?

The fact is, that while there is some risk of LE, it is much lower than the other problem.

 
The good news is that if my own extensive history is a guide, you'll have at least an OK session, so take heart.

 
Sticking to well reviewed providers is always the best bet.

Not ZERO, but very low. I further agree with fish (we're on a roll here) that I too would not have recommended this as a way to book with a provider, but nothing that you have said so far jumps out at me as DANGER WILL ROBINSON!!!

 
IMHO, you are most likely going to get "more or less" what you paid for at worst, but please let me repeat, "This is NOT how to book a provider" and yes you are taking more risk than you should be, both from a LE perspective (low) and the perspective of getting a mediocre or lousy session (high).

 
A word of advice "just in case" she is a cop, do not hand her or even mention the donation or overtly talk about sex and do not answer any questions about "what would you like to do baby?" in actual words. Leave the donation out in plain site, follow her lead where it comes to sex, or if she asks you "what would you like to do?" Do not answer in words, simply go up to her and kiss her. If she is genuine she will kiss you back, in the unlikely event that she is a cop she will pull back and try to get you to say out loud (for the microphone) that you expect sex for your money.

 
There is really no such thing as an "LE check" but there are things you can do to make a conviction unlikely, Saying something dumb like "I thought I was paying you to have sex with me" would pretty much insure a conviction if you ever end up in the same room as a cop. Asking "can I kiss you?" without a mention about money will give you a lot of wiggle room if the cops were to burst into your room if that is ALL you said.

 

I am sure all this advice about how to conduct yourself is moot, as it is HIGHLY unlikely this is a sting, but in the future, please stick to "well reviewed" providers and you won't have to stress about it.

Judging from the time stamps, your meeting has already taken place and is over.  I would have cautioned you about the following, fortunately, none of it in my direct experience.

Make sure that there is only one person who comes to your door, perhaps by waiting in the elevator lobby on your floor (assuming there are chairs or a small lounge area nearby).  Or even go so far as to ask to meet in or off the lobby for breakfast drink (Tequila Sunrise? .  You don't want to open the door to her AND her "muscle" (boyfriend to help with a robbery). There is so much surveillance in the hotels these days that they have almost no chance of NOT having their pics posted on the news an hour after the police arrive, but BP robbers are not the brightest bulbs.

Make sure it is the girl in the pics, even the additional pics. If you are inclined to say, "If you're here looking for your granddaughter, she hasn't arrived yet." or "I was expecting someone else." then that is a Bait and Switch. You should just ask her to leave, unless you want to write one of those "she wasn't the girl in the pics but I figured I'd let her stay anyway ... " reviews.  Given the short notice, etc., maybe give her $50 or $100 for her early morning trouble, but most would say that a B&S deserves ZERO for having caused you trouble and disappointment.

Once she is there, it hopefully continues as mrfisher and GaG have advised. That you are both there to just "hang out." But the next challenge from a BP girl is "upsell" (not JUST BP girls do this, but it is more likely from an unreviewed unknown). If the first steps beyond just hanging out (DFK, touching, remove clothing) are punctuated with "that's extra" or "that's an extra $50" and so on, you might as well stop right there and just stick with hanging out. She knows she has you aroused and will nickel and dime -- er, Grant and Benjamin -- you every step of the way.

I'm guessing things went well for you, but we would like to hear back, and if they did go well, good for you, but it doesn't mean you should proceed the same way in the future. If they didn't go well, nobody will say, "I told you so." Well I hope not anyway.

Guy I know (not me) was in an AMP when the cops came busting in- so he grabs a towel and when they get to him he says "I'm just here for a massage."  In the end there was no way to prove he wasn't and they had to let him go.  At least that's the way he tells the story.  

There have been a lot of AMP busts over the years here, and I have never heard of a customer getting arrested. However, every jurisdiction is different so I wouldn't count on that in every city, but I really don't worry about getting busted here.

Every news story I've read on AMP busts have mainly stated the owners of the establishment and the workers were charged.

NO Lady Cop will accept getting kissed by a John or having her boob groped for her job.

SO, for the ladies, LE check doesn't help much, but for the guys, going right up to intimate touching without speaking is a good way to check if she's a cop
