You don't have to spend a ton of money on photos...if you even have a hundred dollar, high resolution, digital camera with a timer, you can take your own pictures for no cost. In fact, many of the ones on my site were taken by me. The only ones that are professional, are the ones on the main pages, and even those were not done by a paid photographer, but a damn friend who happened to have some experience in posing someone.

I would seriously consider getting a pro website though..once you have better photos. It makes you legit in the eyes of many, and suggests you put effort into your presentation. You don't have to spend thousands to get a nice site either...I paid less than 700 for the one I have now, and it has served me just as well as the one I paid 10k for, in 2008.

If you need any help, don't hesitate to reach out.

Every Indie lady starting out needs good, inexpensive photos and a good inexpensive "cookie-cutter" website that you can easily get up and running by yourself. Your website should be the main portal for all your Ads. Try to get off BP if there are other avenues (e.g. TER, other boards, Date-Check, etc) in your market. Your website can help you with client screening and info about you and your rates (which you can raise since your "quality" or "marketability" is now higher). It will also help you with time managment. Use your website email as your main contact point for new clients (don't give out your phone). Good luck with the Hobby, and good luck with school!
