You don't get any reimbursement for writing review. They just add 15 more VIP days onto what you already have. Each time you write a review of someone you have not reviewed previously, you will get 15 more days. The annual VIP is the best buy from a pure economic standpoint.

One more question - if you buy annual VIP (and thus pay up front), but you then write a review -- how does the $15 reimbursement for writing a review work exactly?
you did something wrong in it. Left something out, or included something that should have been left out, or not enough details. There are several possibilities. Your only recourse is to contact admin and ask. It doesn't tell you why on your list of reviews on your profile?
They may be holding it until she gets another review, especially since you are writing your first review. They often do that when it's a first review by a first time reviewer, particularly if you have little or no board posting presence here.
