Hi Casey...

Here is some of the information I found out that helped me...

1.  First your photos have to already be online so that you can get the url link for the pic.

2.  However, if they are not you can use a site like imagecoast.  Once you upload your pic there you can post them here using the url link for the specific photo you want to use.

I am still getting familiar with how to use these boards so if you can't click on the link for number 3 you can just copy and paste it into the address bar.  Hope this helps...  welcome to the site too and good luck hun

If your going to use a link to your web page on a national board, you might want to put your location more prominently on your site. I finally found it in your FAQ's but that was only because I was really searching for it. Otherwise i liked your site and obviously if I had found you through a regional ad would have known where you were.

Note that Liyah has a big diagonal watermark on all of her pics. That's to prevent others from stealing them for use in fake ads. I don't know if the instructions provided mention how to add a watermark but it probably depends on the software you use (PhotoShop, etc.).

Liyah: Like Curt23, I also had to search for your location and only found it in the FAQ. Maybe put something in your Intro page? "I am an elite courtesan/masseuse ... " based in NY ...

The funny thing is I was actually going to ask for some pointers, advice, etc. as I am new to this and need all of the assistance I can get, but I was not sure where to put the thread.  I truly want to thank both Curt23 and Impposter for their suggestions regarding my site.  I worked really hard getting it together and any feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated... and who better to recieve this information from other than people I am trying to cater to.

One other pointer. There seems to be a growing number of ladies with protected pictures. A lot of guys would never register on a relatively unknown web site just to see pictures. Since we are actually registering with your sites ISP, as well as you, it is a big risk factor. Now you have a decent amount of free pictures as well but always remember those are the only pictures a lot of your potential clients will see. I personally would never fill out a form for info on a non secured web page just too risky a behavior.

I second curt23 on that. I won't "register" just to see some protected pictures and if the rest of the site doesn't get my attention, so be it ... it being off to another ad or website.

There are frequent discussions on the boards of using web forms for contact purposes. There is also a security risk there, since the info goes to you via the ISP and we don't know who the ISP is. Many of us will send info with an expression of interest via email (which is subject to much stronger privacy laws: recent News Corp scandal) as long as email contact info is provided (Liyah's is). Some just call. Some of those webforms just stop working after a while or the ISP doesn't properly forward info to the client.

And one of my personal complaints is about using too much jazzed up web design. Many of us must browse these things surreptitiously and must be careful about leaving trails, setting off alarms, etc.. This is not like surfing Disney or Yahoo. Some tools to protect our anonymity and privacy filter out a lot of dangerous crap: too much flash, too much java, too much of a lot of technical stuff that I don't understand anymore. Basically, use the simplest technology and coding while still keeping the website attractive. AND NO MUSIC!!

Ok now I am getting nip picking. Please correct the spelling of Gallery on your site. It is spelled correctly once and incorrectly twice on your gallery page. This is a minor annoyance but over time will reflect on you.

Thanks for the suggestions I really appreciate it.  The only thing that I wasn't too clear on is the website design.  Are you saying that it is too jazzed up and not discreet enough for people who might go to it and want to be discreet to others who may be around while doing so?  I never really thought of the forms that way which is why its always good to get another persons point of view.

I must say your quick on the corrections, and no I wouldn't say your page is jazzed up at all but many are. Try looking at your page on a cell phone, or look with an underpowered netbook. If it does not get the point across that your looking for, you might want to change it. Also look at your page in the point of view you're in a public hot spot and your trying to be discrete. If you had a large flash downloading or playing how's the poor guy going to hide it when someone walks by and just closing the top is just as suspicious. While I understand some ladies like to show how creative they are they also need to look at it from the point of view of the guy they want to draw in. Some of us are not single, alone at home with no one to be concerned about what we are looking at.
All in all I would say your page is fine at this time, just remember these ideas when you get tempted to do something spectacular with it.

Once again, I'm agreeing with curt23 and will add or embellish:

I'm mostly referring to "techno" jazzy, not content jazzy. Also consider privacy software or web proxies that some of us have to use. They often strip out anything "dangerous" (scripts, too much flash or other techno stuff) that can compromise the computer itself or my anonymity (local or web). If I'm surfing from a workplace, I try to encrypt "this" sort of surfing from internal busy bodies using proxy / anonymizers.

I've encountered a few kinds of "slide shows" on web pages. Some don't work at all; totally blank frames; I'm done, gone, not gonna waste my time. Some display thumbnails that I can select and open in a new tab or window. And so on. It's not as flashy, but there is nothing wrong with a page of plain images, no floating balloons, no fade-in-out slide show ... Right, '23. Too much fancy stuff (technology fancy, not content fancy) can even freeze up a computer. Even a powerful workplace computer might be chugging away on other jobs in the background. Nobody needs "this" stuff to steal precious resources and maybe slow things down to the point where someone comes in and our only choice is the "pull the plug". Not good. Keep it simple with reasonable, not excessive, demands on our local computer resources. Yep. (That's me being curt.)
