i want to see a provider but she'll only entertain at her house or mine, (mind is out of the question) i've only seen 1 review, looks good. I have talked to her and she sounds cool,, i've even told her im a little unsure about visiting. Any advice on visiting her at her house or staying w/hotels??
I have seen several like that. First of all, your link did not go to the provider's ad, just to generic BP page, bad move. You are obviously a newbie, so here is that standard advice. Don't see her if she has no reviews, first of all. Second, do not have her come to your residence. Just because she sounds cool on the phone is no guarantee she will be cool in person.
I know some gals do it and do it safely but I've only had two close calls in my entire time as a hobbyist and both took place in private residences. In both cases raids took place within a day or two of my visit and in one of those cases I literally drove by the house and saw to detectives on the porch. I will add that neither of these instances were a situation where the residence was being used by only one woman but that's part of the problem. As a client you have no way of knowing what you are walking into. I like hotels and I actually prefer out call at this point.
thks for the real world experience,, that's what i was looking for. didnt need a talking down by swim, hey swim, how about telling me how to link a provider's ad instead of pointing out im new. Thats why imon the newbie board,, right??
Regardless whether it's a private home, townhouse, condo or apartment. TBH I've seen providers at all types of static incalls, but the issue of a nosy neighbor does rear it's ugly head as I pull up to the incall. Especially private homes. Homeowners usually take pride in their neighborhood and way to much traffic, especially single men pulling up to a home, can have the neighbors wondering what's going on.
The one type of static incall that I have the least amount of worries, are those humongous apartment complexes, where people are always moving in or out. And no one knows anyone. The biggest problem when going to one of those complexes for me is finding the dam apartment. The dam gps doesn't work in those places.
sorry if you took it that way, that was not my intention. To link to a provider's ad, open the ad in a tab. Go to the address bar and copy it, and paste it into the link URL box at the bottom of your post. When your post goes active, it should appear at the bottom of the post. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
I have been under the impression for years that posting links to specific providers, or even asking questions about them, was not allowed on the Newbie board. Is that no longer the case?
I am unaware of such a rule. I have never seen it anywhere. Personally, I have no problem with just about any question posted by a noob. Only thing I know is that, for the most part, ISO posts are supposed to go on the ISO board rather than on regional boards.
The intent was to keep the questions of a general nature and keep the "has anyone seen so and so" questions on the regional boards. Since there is nothing written at the top of the board anymore I'm going to assume that it's not longer a rule.
I see one who does so, has a legit home based business... 1 parking space designated for the business... set up in her home office. But she's only part time too so there's not a lot of traffic & no late calls.
