Hello, new to the hobby and need advice. I have found a provider I really want to see with 2 pages of reviews, but the last review was in Feb. 2009. Have contacted her and said she is still available. Is this something to be concerned about? Thanks
She has a lot of regulars and repeat clients who have already reviewed her.
She takes blocks of time off to accommodate her life. One of the great things about being a provider is that we can work when we want to or when we can. I know one provider who works the 6 mos her ex has custody of the kids and she takes the 6 mos she has with her kids off. I used to tour 4-6 mos at a time and then take a few months off.
She was working in market like SF where the main review board is another instead of TER. I worked for 2+ yrs straight in a market like that and had 80 reviews on the local review board and only 6 on TER.
She broke her leg or was injured - or was taking care of someone.
She needed to rejuvinate.
February '09 is not that long ago. If it were a few years and she had good reviews in the past I might ask why she's gone so long but still would not be overly concerned.
I asked her politely what happened. She had moved across the country and was out of the business. It seemed logical, so I made the appointment had a great time. End of story. There is a saying around here, go with your gut. Everyone was a newbie and nervous, but if it sounds reasonable, it probably is. Good luck.
There is nothing wrong with gaps in reviews or no reviews at all in some instances. Some ladies, like myself hold professional careers or have personal relationships that require us to be as discrete as possible. We do not want to be incriminated by the intimate details that the "Juicy Details" offers to members. I truly believe that what happens behind closed doors should remain there. There are other ways to know if a girl is trusted and reliable. 1. Her picture is sexy yet professional. Not taken with cell phones, on toilettes or clearly in a motel room. 2. She has her own website or you can find her on a reputable site such as Eros or CityVibe. 3. Ladies who invest time and money into themselves and their business are most often you best choice. There's gaps in my reviews, too. All 3 of them, heh.
No big deal. Some TER guys just don't review. I hold myself as an example. I've seen numerous TER guys who just use the site for the ads, they don't post and they don't review and I see them anyway. TER guys are consistently the sweetest, nicest, most polite men I've met thus far.
Check other sites, too. It's a little easier to get a review posted on Escorts, the gap is probably filled in there or elsewhere.
Thanks for the help, but as it turns out the provider in question was recently reviewed again and it wasn't a good one. I guess these things can go either way.
