Usually with a Mac if you hold down the "control" or "option" key and then click your mouse, it will accomplish the same thing as the "right click" on a PC.
Hi all! I'm Jaycee. I am still very new to TER and trying to figure it all out. I might be able to help myself a little bit more if I could figure out the search function. Regardless of what I type in, it gives me nothing. What am I doing wrong?
And is the search function only available on the Newbie board? Or can I do a search on a topic for any board?
I dont have a website yet, but I have attempted to start one on different sites, only to invest so time and effort into the process and find out out that certain function are not compatible with a Mac, including this great board as well.
Can someone please recommend a website, where I can build my own, that is Mac compatible with all the funtions?
And could you great and wonderful people that so graciously offer your technological insight to those of us that are more techie challenged, could you also talk Mac? Pretty Plese? Us Mac people have no clue what a right click is.
Okay, since I dont have my own website yet, for the above, aforementioned reasons, I guess my option is to simply do an ad posting here on TER and have it linked to my reviews, right? But my reviews are under the agency and I'm trying to be Indy. I'm not sure what the next step is.
Okay, I'm done. Sorry to be a pest. And what are close to 500 people doing on TER at 5 0'clock in the morning? Is that a good sign for the day to come? You all start early. Good morning to ya.
In the PC world, a left click will execute some action and the right click will bring up an option menu. The Mac does support the concept of a right click. On a Macbook, you place two fingers on the touch pad and click on the mouse button. on a iMac with a single button mouse you press the "control" key before pressing the mouse button. on the new MightyMouse, it will sense if you are pressing down on the right side of the mouse.
BTW, you can also use a external mouse with two buttons on a Mac and the "right button" will work as intended.
