If you haven't seen other Providers to give a reference then i strongly suggest joining a verification site..Date-Check or some of the other well known sites..and a word of advise for you as well, if you find a few Providers you might want to see and after you have your verification in order let the Providers you have on your To-Do list PRE-SCREEN you so if and when you have a free day or a free hour or two and can see one of them, you'll be good to go

I am new on TER and am wondering what the best verification site might be? I've heard mixed reviews about DateCheck, and don't want to pay for a service unless it is actually worth while.  I'm working a little with an agency (which doesn't screen all that well) and I'm doing indepedent work (my own incall coming soon -fingers crossed) and feel the need to re-screen the agency referrals and also screen ones coming straight to me.

I haven't had any trouble so far, but the recent busts have me more and more nervous....

Any suggestions?

Verano – It's not so easy developing references. Here are some tips:

Often guys who are new to the hobby start with agencies. Agencies generally do not require references. The downside is that agencies also don't provide references so in a sense this is a dead end. But starting with a few agency dates will give you a little experience so you can talk with more assurance and self confidence when you approach an independent lady.

Then at some point you obviously need to make the transition. The one thing you should not do is try to conceal the fact that you don't have references. Be very upfront. And you'll need to be ready to provide very complete personal information: name, address, phone, e-mail, company address, Web site, etc. If you approach women in a professional and mature manner, it's not so hard to get over this hurdle. I remember when I was still new, some of the providers would assume I was "established" when I really was not because I seemed to be experienced.

Another thing that helps is participating in your local TER board. A few providers will see this activity. But it also gives you prominence in the community. Sometimes you can send a provider your TER handle through the PM system as verification. At that point the provider might look up your past comments to see how long you've been around.

Good luck. DateCheck and Preferred411 have not been much help for me but maybe they would be more valuable for you.

My first expereince verified my employmentn although sime provider won't do that because that do verify what type of customer you are, many will.  As suggested date-check and P411, both will verify employment but you still need to see providers to be fully verified.

Another path is to find a well reviewed provider on CL, who do not verify, review her and some providers who trusts TER may book you.  Good Luck

Read a few pages on your local board to get an idea of which verification services are popular in your area.

I agree with the others, start out with date-check or P411. At least that'll be something you can tell the providers

I do... however, if you don't have any, it's OK but you must have all the other info that I ask (employment, etc..).  There are clients that are self-employed and have no provider refs... now that's a deal breaker.

Btw, please do not see girls that don't screen... never a good idea (could be LE).

Good luck!

"And you'll need to be ready to provide very complete personal information: name, address, phone, e-mail, company address, Web site, etc."

how many providers would supply that information?  If agencies dont require references and dont give them, why would there be a need to use anyone that is not with an agency...

Why dont some providers "trust" P411 or DateCheck?  Seems to me that if they get the same info that the lady would verify, why not take the screening "OK" as good.  I would rather have my personal info in as few hands as possible.
