They might ask for your full name, etc, and place of employment so they can verify that you actually work there, along with other personal stuff.

But joining a site like Date-Check or Preferred411 is not a bad idea.  A lifetime membership on DC is only $125, and you can then get providers you see to give you references on there.  PM me is you want to know more about DC.
