Very odd, the agency rep just throwing out the name of one of your colleagues...and now one wonders if this was a wink (your colleague is a client of theirs) OR the agency rep just happens to know the person.
Either way, I wouldn't want an agency throwing my name around, or yours. I'd recommend joining a screening service and then using their independent provider lists. Take care, --z
I set up a session this weekend thru an agency called LoneStarElite. Their girls have a few reviews here, but none older than January 09. So far I think everything is legit..
But Im a bit nervous. Mostly because if I get caught by LE it could really ruin my career.
Below a copy of the email convo:
Guys let me know if anything in here raises a red flag. Also I read the newbie guide for what to do on a first encounter, but any additional advice is greatly appreciated:

ME
Hi,
I'd like to setup an outcall with Melanie
Lemme know what the donation is. Thanks
-----------------------------
AGENCY
Thank you for taking the time to get in touch with us and thank you for the chance to earn your business. We can definitely coordinate an outcall with Melanie for you. What day and time were you thinking you'd like to see her?
As for her rate, Melanie's time is $350 for the hour.
Please let me know when you were thinking you'd like to see her.
------------------------------
ME
(date and time omitted) for one hour. And actually, I think I'll prefer an incall...
------------------------------
AGENCY
We can definitely coordinate that with Melanie. As for incall, our location is reserved for our existing clientele only so the first appointment will need to be outcall. I appreciate your understanding. I have you on the schedule - the only thing left to do is that we have to complete our screening process. We have a pretty straightforward process and the only information we need is:
Name:
Phone Number:
Line of Work:
e-Mail address:
P411 Login:
ASPD/H2 Login:
Provider References:
If you could send over that information as well as where you would like to meet her, then I can finalize and we will be good to go.
Talk to you soon,
------------------------------
ME
Thanks for the info. Go ahead and cancel for now since I won't be
free for an outcall that day.
Also, I'm a newbie, so I don't have any other provider references.
Will that be a problem?
Aspd is down currently. Will a TER login be acceptable instead?
------------------------------
AGENCY
Thats not a problem at all and I have some empathy for newbies as I remember being there myself. What I can say is that if we can do a full screening on you, it won't be a problem. And, if the screening goes fine, I'll even make an exception to the incall rule.
That being said, here's what we need for the newbie screening:
First and Last Name:
e-Mail Address:
Cell Phone Number:
Employer Name:
Job Title:
Work Phone Number:
Work Website:
Time at current employer:
If you can get this back over to me, and assuming I can get screening done, we can do a 1:30 and I'll bend the rules, my friend. Let me know your thought.
------------------------------
AGENCY
Awesome. Thanks
Heres my info:
First and Last Name:****
e-Mail Address:****
Cell Phone Number:****
Employer Name:****
Job Title:****
Work Phone Number:****
Work Website:****
Time at current employer:****
If you do call my work, please be discreet as they are very conservative and uptight about
"Professionalism". Thanks
------------------------------
AGENCY
Do you know (name omitted) by any chance?
------------------------------
ME
Not personally, but I know the name. He works in a different building.
Wow, small world ![]()
------------------------------
AGENCY
I went ahead and blocked off the appointment for you and Melanie at the incall on (date & time omitted) I still have to handle screening although I don't imagine that will be much of a headache with the information attached. Just out of my personal curiousity, what made you decide to work there?
------------------------------
ME:
It's a secure steady paycheck, and I still have plenty of free time to pursue other
things in life.
------------------------------
AGENCY
It is a small world though, isnt it. I should have your screening done tonight or tomorrow and will send you a quick e-mail. In the mean time, we are all set. Our incall location is right off of (location omitted)
Talk to you soon,

END OF CONVO
So the thing that's crazy is when he asked me if I knew of this guy. So I searched for his name on the company email directory, and sure enough. There he is!
So what do you guys think?
Very odd, the agency rep just throwing out the name of one of your colleagues...and now one wonders if this was a wink (your colleague is a client of theirs) OR the agency rep just happens to know the person.

I sure hope blabbermouth doesn't name you when if and when your boss calls them to make an appointment.
The word "discretion" should mean something to those folks.
...that give everyone else who screens via employment info a bad rep. The other guy had nothing to do with you! What if you had been his SO trying to dig up dirt on him, or LE gathering info? Boom, he's in trouble.
I would henceforth avoid this agency like the plague.
It is inexcusable for the agency to ever reveal the name of another client, under any circumstance. Now whether you go ahead with your appointment or not, they still have your name and employer info.
Frak. I hate being a newb.
What do you guys think? Is the this LE or just a retarded agency?
I did a whois on their website and its only been up since January. Maybe its just a newbie sceener.
I dunno, I seriously need to think this one over.....
isn't this complicated.
Next time that guy calls for an appt., maybe they'll ask him if he knows you? Way uncool...
revealing clients like that is very indiscreet, and highly unprofessional IMO.
I would avoid this agency completely, and hope that they never reveal your info, which you have unfortunately provided to them. This outfit sounds like they probably keep records, and your post mentions two reasons why I have avoided agencies to date, and likely always will: Third parties involved, and likelihood of keeping records, probably in a database.
