Question for the ladies, but guys certainly welcome to chime in if you have experience with this: In terms of ettiquette, what do providers generally do when they decide to retire from the business? Do you give a courtesy notice, or just dissappear?

I see notices all the time posted on the regional boards by ladies who are retiring soon. Then some just dissapear, I guess it just depends on the circumstances.
