I am trying to become a member of date-check.  I got an emaill saying they were unable to verify the phone number for my place of employment.  This is the only number i have and it is the same number that I use to call my employer.  Does this mean I am out of luck or is there anything else that they could do to to verify me?  Has anyone else had this problem?

it sounds to me like they want your employers phone number. They want to verify you, not know what phone number you use to call your employer. think about it, how does that help them to determine you are who you say you are.

Date-Check specifically asks for your extension and ask that you answer that extension and phone yourself.  Now this question has been answered, see if this discussion helps
