For verification with a provider you will have to use your real name for verification.  Every provider I have seen and/or site I've read claim to destroy verification info but we have no way on knowing that for sure.  A provider might be able to comment on that better than I.  However, scanning an ID is a BIG warning sign.  Some providers require a photo ID at the start of the first session but they should only be looking at the picture and name...nothing else!  If a service or individual asks for a scan copy of any ID for pre-session verification I'd run screaming in the other direction!

But, I'm single, no SO of any sort, so I am not hiding my hobbying from anyone.  Many hobbyists are obviously not in the same situation as I am, so they will feel like they have to use some sort of alias.  However, many will require your name as part of their screening procedure.

To answer your second question, I have never seen anyone who wanted to scan my ID.  In fact, I have never even been asked to shoW it to a provider.  If you are careful and do the proper research, you should not have to worry about this.  BTW, how do you think they would scan your ID anyway?  They are providers, not WalMart.

You will need to give the ladies your real name in order to be screened.  The lady's safety comes first.

By reading this and other boards, it seems independent ladies are less likely to save any information than agencies.

If you want to be safe (for our safety), you will need to provide your real name.  There are many good verification sites you can sign up for such as Date-Check that prescreens you.

I've never, nor would I, make a copy of someone's ID.  I've never heard of scanning an ID.

I'm gonna try using my alias for initial contact and then drop the "do you need my real name for screening?" when it seems like an appointment is about to be made.

I prefer to be called "Keyser" while I am pounding her.  "Keyser" is not my real name.  But I wish it was. :)

What do you think of this plan?
