Hello, I have noticed that certain providers are more stringent than others in the verification process . I am wondering why they need your employee information ? . The possible problems caused by releasing this information to me is not worth the pleasure it potentially presents ! I am wondering how the experienced Hobbyist handles this dilemma thank you !

Give out your employment information. If you are not comfortable, do not do it. If you must, make sure the provider is extremely well reviewed and trusted. Make sure she is well reviewed by hobbyists with many reviews.
Check the discussion boards to make sure she is not a flake. Homework and research is the key.

You may also want to join one of the verification sites such as RS2000, Date Check and P411.
Once you see a couple of providers and have good references, it will be much easier.

Perhaps you should elaborate since you statement is so broad.

This is to make sure you are not a LEO.  She will probably call and ask for you with some excuse.  If she gets transferred to you, she will likely hang up and not even talk to you.  She now knows you really work there and that's all she needs.

Like has been already said, if you aren't comfortable with this request, move on.

As a Provider we are in a very tough spot.  We are inviting a complete stranger into our home.  I ask for work info. so I at least know who the guy is.  After all if I get beat up or worse, what am I suppose to tell the cops... It was a guy Jake9000 on TER??? Most gents are very understanding and know this is for our safety and I would never do anything to cause problems.  After all I want you to cum back again and again.

Whatever PARTICULAR lady requires to feel safe.  If it is more than gentleman feels comfortable to provide - MOVE ON.

There are many of ladies with differenc levels of screening.

There is nothing clear about "whatever the lady asks" That would imply he bow down to ludicrous requests such as driver's licenses and social security numbers.

Now, I gave the gent some alternatives.
We would not want all the newbies to think it is OK to give a provider "whatever she asks"

There is also the aspect of keeping the hobbyist safe. This is a two way street, my dear.

Early on, I saw some established providers who didn't ask for employment info. They were then nice enough to give me references. Having references seems to void any need to supply work info, even for providers who ask for it as part of their screening. I just say I don't give that out. It's tough for a newbie, but once you get that first good reference, it gets easy fast.

About SECOND part of his message which states "or move on"

For example, anyone without provider references contacting me, has to be willing to provide me with real name, employment verification and real phone number.  If they are not comfortable with that I wish them best of luck and ask to contact me when they do have legit references.

No lady will force someone to present more information than they are comfortable with.  But she will retain right to refuse to book if her particular requirements are not met.

I agree IMALLIN. That is the best way to go. References are key. They unlock doors and beds ;)

work info and you don't want to give that out, then move on.  If a lady asks for a home phone number, etc.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know not to give out DL# or SSN.  Ever hear of identity theft?

A lady has the right to do what she feels is satisfactory to help ensure her safety.

Now, go make up a new alias.

You either give them what they want or you move on to another lady who is less stringent.

I am not at all confused.
However, this is a newbie board and your comment warranted clarification.
I am very well versed in identity theft as part of my employment in the real world which made my earlier comment even more valid.

My comments coming from an alias make no difference in the content of my message.
If it bothers you so, I would not object to sending you a PM under my "real" handle.

stringent should be a GOOD thing.
