hi...twice this week. my efforts to book two providers of my choice have ended poorly. I would appreciate feedback as to what I am doing incorrectly. basic scenario is this: Provider 1 catches my eye, I make contact, clear ref's and I am good with her rate. no problem. it occurs to me that I would like to spice it up by having a second provider join us. Provider 1 is consulted and she is fine, does not discuss any rate change. I do some research, send out some queries and hear back from someone who would be just fine. I pass Provider 2 ref checks and I can see her general rate on her site. it is different from Provider 1, it is higher by a not small amount. I'm doing the math in my head and I am still comfortable that the cost of the date is within my budget. Provider 2 then asks for the identity of Provider 1 so they can chat and gain some familiarity/comfort. I understand this and provide the name. The next communication I get is from Provider 2. She tells me that she and Provider 1 have now spoken and they are instantaneous BFFs. now. wait for it, the two have spoken and all is good. At this point, Provider tells me what the total charge for the session will be. The number is basically twice her higher rate. I am confused now as to why Provider 1' s rate is effectively overridden and also. I then lose the P411 discount that was in her ad. The session now falls apart and the parties are not in the best of terms.
