"I would suggest reading providers websites to see what is their preferred methods of contact. Some providers will have no problem with you sending an appointment request via P411 and others will still want their website contact form filled out. "

if you haven't looked you'd be surprised how many providers DONT specify this on their sites.

A lot of gents might be traveling to a certain city on business but does not know their schedule exactly.
So,in this case they would send a pre-screening form via P411 to let a provider know his interest.
When I get these pre-screening requests most gents are coming to town or already here and have yet to get their schedules together. They want to be pre-screened so when they do have some available time they do not have to waste time being screened. If you already know your schedule or the day and time you want to see a provider then you would send an appointment request via P411.I would suggest reading providers websites to see what is their preferred methods of contact. Some providers will have no problem with you sending an appointment request via P411 and others will still want their website contact form filled out.
Every one is different. For me I do not mind a request being sent to me via P411.
Good luck to you:)

Tried searching for this but couldn't find out much of the difference. I see that on P411 they explain what information is sent to the provider (the difference being one form has the appointment dates), but from a provider's perspective what exactly is the difference? Do providers prefer one over the other?

In what type of situation, would you as a client actually use the Pre-Screening form as opposed to the Appointment Request form? I would imagine when contacting someone you would already have a date in mind...but the fact that these forms exist leads me to believe otherwise.

Also, is it better to typically use those forms or go through the provider's website and use their website form? I'm guessing it's probably one of those "it depends on the provider" type of deals, but figured I'd ask anyways.

The pre-screening means that you know you want to meet eventually, but you're not sure when yet.  But by being pre-screened scheduling will be easier when you do figure out a date.  It helps accommodate shorter notice appointment requests, for example.

It doesn't really matter to me which you use - just use the one that suits your purpose at that moment.  Sure, I guess I'd prefer the specific date, but if you're not ready to schedule, then by all means get pre-screened.

It's better to send the request through P411.  That way we know that you really are the person with that account, and now some fake just using that person's info.

Previous answers have done a good job on explaining the difference. One thing to note is that if a provider happens to offer a p411 discount, then it's only applicable if you initially contact her either via the p411 pre screening or appt request forms.

Have fun and be safe!
