I thought there were different green dot prepaid cards and that not all of them worked anonymously due to different policies on registration (anon vs. non-anon) and restrictions on international payments. Visa and MC. Issued by a variety of banks and financial institutions (AmEx, Citi, B of A, Chase, Etc.).
1. What is currently the most likely "green dot" card to work to pay TER anonymously (from the US)?
2. Will TER accept two payments in close succession for annual membership payment? For example, buy a $20 green dot card and see if it works for a one month membership. If it gets REJECTED, use it to go buy some pizza or something and try some other brand. If it DOES WORK, reload with $160 to pay the balance on an annual membership ($180, total); that might take a few days to coordinate, but basically $180 paid within a week or so.
Yeah, yeah ... first time, pay one month, reload with $180 and add one year for a total of 13 months for $200. But there might be other times when I might want to unload or empty one card and then top off the account with the minimum additional amount. I'm just wondering.
EDIT: 3. Just had another thought. Can I use green dot to register with ccBill and then pay with ccBill?

I've never heard of an anonymous card and I don't know of more than one type of greendot card.
I use mine for a multitude of things to pay bills, advertising, booking hotel rooms et cetera so trying to be anonymous is not an option for me. Addresses on file have to match.
What I'm doing with the green dot is just trying to keep hobby related expenses segregated from my regular checking account.
I'm sure others will disagree with me, but I really don't think one can stay completely anonymous in the hobby. Of course I take measures to protect my identity but that can only go so far.
