Re: Overnight issue/question....

Er, I don't know how sensitive this is... but I gotta ask.  I had my first overnight appointment.  The gentleman is a sweetheart, very polite and we had an awesome time.  He did want to go "all night" but I was turned on enough due to his other attentions to be okay with it.  Eventually, I wore him out.  Heh.

So we go to sleep.  Cuddle time.  I love to cuddle but as the night went on I found myself being eroded further and futher to the edge of the bed.  He's a big guy and a total bed/cover hog, lol.  Also.. he snores like a BEAR!  I mean LOUD LOUD.  I was totally unable to sleep annnnd... I wound up half-on/half-off the bed by the time 3am came and went.  I took a trip to the tile floor of the room which woke me up enough to preserve my not-ungenerous ass from being broken.

So yeah.  I got up and got in the other hotel bed.  I didn't want to, I wanted to sleep the night with him but I also didn't want to wake him up.  And frankly, he was snoring so loud I was coming in and out of sleep anyway.

Did I do right?  I crawled back in with him long about 6am and gave him a nice "wake-up call".  I feel kinna bad I had to leave him but he had the AC in the room to 65 degrees, I was freezing and there was just no room for me... opinions?

Thanks, ya'll.

Youre far more patient than I would have been. You did fine.

Personally, I think you did ok. Since you didn't want to wake him. Even if you did get back in bed again with him, I am 98% sure, you would have had a repeat of the same.

You did fine. It sounds like you went above and beyond for the guy. I don't know which one of you got the room but a single with a king or queen size bed would have probably been a better option.

He got it.  The reason I asked mainly is cause I say I'm a GFE but it didn't seem very "girlfriendy" to do that.

However, in my personal relationships I'm a take-charge kinna GF anyway.  If he's snoring I'll poke him like, "Yo Chainsaw, get some BreatheRight strips or I'mma gag you and move the hell over or you'll be using me as a cover."  Yeaaaaah I'm thinking that might not have gone over so well when he's paying for my services. ;)

Thanks for the feedback, guys, I appreciate it.

In all honesty I think you did just fine by him. From what you are saying it sounds like you were much, much nicer to him than what a "real" girlfriend would have done.

Thanks, GA, coming from the ultimate curmudgeon I take that as high praise! :)

I want my clients to know the real me, of course, but I do curb some of my more feisty comments and/or reactions.  Shit, they're paying their hard-earned money for my time.  'Sides, the guys I've met have treated me SO much better than any boyfriend ever did I want to do right by them.

Maybe I wouldn't be so "curmdgeonly" lol

Actually in all honesty I would have to say that most providers share your attitude (God bless them. lol), there does seem to be a vocal minority on the GD board that seems to think that they are owed a living. I am happy to see they are nothing more than a very vocal minority, as your attitude seems to be more in line with the providers that I actually see.

Have I told you lately that I am beginning to like you? lol

But I guess since you're closer than me, you'll beat me. I'm jealous! :-)

Seriously, though, Sascha, you did fine. You offered a Girlfriend Experience, not a Doormat Experience. You went above and beyond!

Earplugs are an absolute must for overnighters for a whole bunch of reasons.

I'm glad the GFE is not a completely accurate Girlfriend Experience. I'm thinking of an old girlfriend right now and ... I think I could have lived without that particular experience just fine! (*chuckle*)

Hmmmmm, now that sounds interesting. ".... or you'll be using me as a cover."

I have inquired,in the past, about overnites. The response I received was in the form of a 'list of rules' concerning just that. I had established a rapport with the ladies in question,so the 'list' was a tad offensive to me. Sascha, you seemed to rise above and beyond any list that I have ever seen. OH! HEY! I don't snore and I always get dual Queens.

Overnights are not marathons...  at some point sleep time is included.  Folks who normally sleep alone can be cover / bed hogs at home & not realize it.  They can also snore all they want.

I've read here about advance discussions about how much play & how much sleep are in the deal.  You ARE entitled to at least some sleep.  I honestly think you were very understanding & practical...  and are to be commended.  I would not have objected...  If he was as nice & understanding as you say, he would not have either.

Thanks SKB!

Funny, he didn't even notice I wasn't there, lol.  He woke up in the morning when I woke him up and we parted very nicely.  He never even mentioned it so I assume he just slept through.

I'll look into the earplugs, thank you all so much for the great advice.

But are some of you saying that some guys want to stay up and stay busy all night?  I'm young and I still got no intentions of doing that!!  I need some sleep!  Maybe I'm the minority?

Heh, that guy sounds like me except maybe the cover hog.  I tend to not use the covers as much.  Anywho, that is not here nor there.  Personally, if I were to do an overnighter, I would warn her that I snore to give her some heads-up.

A king sized bed as someone else said may help but if the guy is anything like me, it will just make it a bigger bed to hog.  :-)

You did fine.  From what you said, I doubt that your not sleeping in the same bed the whole night would be a big issue.  Did he even know that you got out the bed?

I think you did just fine. I have done over nighters and had the same problem. I usually aqs the gentlemen if he snores and ways to go around it. Patience is the key and I would have done the same thing you did! Early morning wake up call! =)!
