I did my homework and picked my first gal, but alas, I was not accepted without references.  (sadface, Valdune)

I'm verified through rs2k, but that wasn't enough.  I'm told to get seen by a few ladies on the rs2k website.  I'm spoiled by TER's search options compared to rs2k, but I have some questions. (My goal is to see my first choice.  How do I get there?)

1) Do all providers who have access to post that they seen me on rs2k have an ad on rs2k?  Because then I'd have to see someone posted, making sure that they report that they seen me.

2) Or would seeing anyone(highly reviewed) on TER work?  (This may depend on the specific agency that rejected me...)

I guess I just want more tips on getting over this first "HUMP." I don't want to see a girl and have it not "count" towards my goal.  Is there an easier way to search for newbie friendly providers?

RS2K is difficult because it's only popular in the Midwest (Chicago area really) and they DON'T offer the options for ladies to provide an OK for a client they have seen. All they do is come back with an OK or NOT on the gentleman when ladies screen thru them. For this reason, many ladies including myself require 1-2 references WITH RS2K. I'm still perplexed as to why everyone uses it there, but if ya can't beat 'em- join 'em

If you are looking to be able to see your first choice- find out how many provider references she requires and see that number of ladies before trying to contact her again. The key here is to make sure that the ladies you see are reference friendly. Some ladies will not provide references so if it's important, make sure you ask before setting something up.

I personally prefer P411 for verification because after seeing a gentleman I can go in and list them as OK. Then your profile will automatically list who has listed you OK so future ladies can easily verify you. Also, there is a "newbie friendly" search option on there when looking for ladies. And most ladies provide links to their reviews on their P411 profile page so you can easily access that as well.

most girls will not see you without at least 1 reference...sorry you will not get your first choice until you have some experience under your belt! I would suggest seeing a provider who advertises "for newbies" I just recently saw two newbies and turned them on to this site as well

To get over my hump, I had to keep calling different ladies untill I found some that didnt need references (scary I know) and saw them repeatedly untill we knew each other well enough that they would vouch for me. Keep in mind that the ladies our doing this for their protection, which in turn protects us. Stay patient and do your research. G'luck!

If you are up front and come across as a good guy, some ladies, even very experienced and well rated will give you shot.

But if you are unwilling to give up any info about yourself, that may be a problem as well.

Also make sure you don't act stupid, read up on the do's and dont's when communicating with them.

Then again your provider may just be a stickler and will have to be bumped down the to do list.

yes indeed.  I was having the same problem being a newbie -- no reference; no provider.  I contacted several providers and one lady, very experienced, chatted with me on the phone, we emailed, and she took a chnace on me.  She gave me a referral and I have 2 references now!  Also P411 and Date Check. I'm good to go.  And BTW, she was fabulous!

We only accept newbies when they call with a positive attitude, willing to go through our "newbie screening", and don't bs around.

We've all heard the " I'm new!! OMGGG I CANT JUST CANT give out my name"
Whining, Crying, Yelling, or swearing will more than likely have you rejected for ALONG time.

Your best bet is to call EXPECTING some serious screening, stay positive, accept their rules and regulations, and comply. Even if you HAVE references, not all providers are willing to reference you. It's a D'd if you do, D'd if you don't. Make sure if your going to go with someone other than your first choice, choose a provider or agency that will happily reference you.

I know it's frustrating, but a good attitude goes along way in this business.

datecheck is good also. If you are not sure by maybe checking her site if she's newbie friendly just ask.

This thread has been very helpful.  I have experienced the same thing.  I have found a provider would like to meet but I am new with no references.  We have exchanged a series of emails and I am willing to meet her requirements.  I am going through the process of being verified with P411 and Date Check also.

I never knew when I considered this how much is involved lol.
