three day rule..

Email I think works best for initial contact, and some Providers specify (assuming this is an initial contact). If you only have a phone contact, and you've already left a message, and haven't heard a response, then move on. Unless this is the one you MUST see, then wait a few days and try one more time. I think anything more than 2x and she isn't responding means she isn't available or she's not interested.

Since the holidays, many Providers are with their families or on hiatus. I would check the Regional Boards to find out who is in town during the holiday weekend, or see if any of your other "favorites" show they will be in during the holidays on their calendars.

Also be sure to check out the provider's site....

They will often state if they are on vacation or otherwise out of touch.

Generally, I will wait 2-3 days, then contact once more, and if still nothing I'll make other plans.

In the case of civlians, I call one time only. If no return call, I move on. I figure she's not interested.

And if you do leave a message, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, leave a call-back number & time frame that it's OK to return your call... soooo many people call, and their message consists of, 'Hi, this is xyz, please call me back'..... now, I might have anywhere from, hopefully only 1 missed call, upwards to 6 or 7... and then I have NO idea who left what message and for what number.... I probably miss at least 2-3 gentlemen per day, because of this habit. Also, leave a time frame that it's OK to return the call... many guys have SO/wives, and a call returned 2-3 hours later, might be answered by the wrong party

And please do not call a girl back to back to back.... when I see that someone has called me 5,7,10 times, they rarely ever get a callback.
