would be to participate on the boards.  The powers that be at TER recognize this as a way to become a known entity, and they will feel more confident about posting a review from such a person.

for TER to post a review from a "new" TER hobbyiest? He is someone I saw and  I recommended  ter and he then he emailed me and told me he wrote a review of "our" time together. I was wondering how long it takes for it to be posted..

any ideas?

When I first started here as a non-VIP, my reviews were rejected based on my limited history and lack of reviews. I paid for VIP and still had a problem due to the gals I reviewed hadn't been reviewed by anyone else yet. After a few weeks of using TER and spending time on here looking through the site and answering a few posts like yours, things got on track for me and now it's pretty smooth. Although it was a little aggravating in the beginning, I'm glad it was handled the way TER handles it because the material on here is very accurate. What good is a site with no rules or moderation, gals reviewing themselves, etc. Hope this helps, I've read through a lot of stuff on here and my personal experience here is reflected in others experiences as well.

Seriously, the TER reviewers seem rather erratic to me, based on what I've read.  Based on my own experience, though, my first review as a newbie took about four days or so for them to review and post it.  It can sometimes take longer, though, depending on various factors, including the phase of the moon and whether or not the reviewers are getting any at that particular moment. ;-)

It's really impossible to say Lately I've had them go up as quickly as a day and as long as 4 days.  Your client can go into account manager and check the status of this review. If it's been declined, TER will give a reason and then he can correct the review.

There is a set number of staff that handles reviews.  If a bunch come in at once, it takes a while to process them all.  If the pile is small, it's quicker.  Additionally, from what I hear, some reviews require a further look, which slows things down even more.

As is usually the case, 2 cents isn't worth much.  :)

As a newbie back at the begining of the year my first 4 reviews were not posted and the only reason given was "From time to time we choose not to post reviews from users with limited history at TER. This is done with the interests of our community as a whole in mind. We thank you for your understanding."

The shortest time it has taken to get a review is 2 days. I have yet to have a review rejected. I also had no trouble seeing my first provider. And no, my wife and the lady are not friends and I did not use my wife as a reference as I did not even no my wife provided at that time. The newbie gods must like me. ;)

P.S. I don't count the robber I seen 8 years ago as a provider. I don't count thieves as providers. I also don't count my wife as I don't directly pay for her time.

From my experience, it has been anywhere from 24-72 hours.  Hopefully as you have other reviews, it will help keep his from being denied.

Wifes are expensive but a good one is priceless. I feel I am a lucky one and got a good one. ;)

This raises a question for Phil.  What's the reason for the requirement that a provider advertise in order to be reviewed by TER?  I'm sure there's a practical reason but I can't think of it.  As it applies to my recent experience, the gal does have reviews posted here but none of them since May or June when she left Jerry's and went UTR.  She's quite active in the Hudson Valley and travels to White Plains and Stamford.  But TER clients would never know it unless she's reviewed here or they also are BGFE subscribers.  She has such a loyal following and is heavily reviewed on BGFE, so it's not like she needs my piddling review.  But members of TER who remember her from Jerry's might like to know how to find her (some, no doubt, already do), so a review might help them.  She is phenomenal.

Most of mine have taken less that 24 hours. Even my first one. I have to assume that was because the lady was well reviewed. One took a week. So far I have never had a review rejected.

Same thing here. My first two reviews were denied for the same reason. Funny thing is that I reviewed two highly reviewed ladies I saw following the wise advice on TER.
