What's up with guys trying to pay with debit/credit cards...when the ad said CASH ONLY?

We had set the date up and right after he arrived to my incall location he asks,

"Do you accept debit or credit cards? Because I didn't bring any cash with me."

He tried to barter and say that he'd pay later.

He got shown the door and needless to say, I won't be seeing him again.

I know that situations like this are a pat of the business...but it's still frustrating.

These are the same sleazeballs that try to screw any honest business person just because they want something and don't have enough green to pay for it.  Unfortunately it is just part of running your own business as opposed to being an employee.

Do you want to bet if you had taken his cc you would have gotten a chargeback?  YOu are smart to stick with cash and to show him the door.

It is happening to me in my business with increasing frequency as the economy worsens.

Wait until you get told that you suck because you won't provide services for less than it costs you to produce them.

IMHO the increase in this type of thing is an indicator of the slide into recession.

Maybe show the guy the little logo on the back of his card that says "Star" or "Cirrus" and ask the hotel concierge for the location of the nearest ATM where numbskull can get cash.

On the flip side, some providers are wanting a credit card number for a deposit.  I think it's reasonable for a reputable, established provider to ask for a deposit so she doesn't get stiffed by a NSNC, but I'd imagine most guys would be reluctant to have any kind of a trail.   Ideas?

Why would he wait until he gets to my place and then say he has no dinero on him?

I had one client try to pay me with a travelers check, again when I clearly stated that I accept cash only.

If I do start taking deposits, it'll be by Paypal!

See, the problem is that at some point, the guys that do this got away with a girl letting them promise to bring cash back later, which is why they still attempt it.

If someone gets away with it once, they'll keep trying it on others. The same with NCNS, B&S, and other bad behavior on both sides. You're doing everybody a favor by not putting up with it.

Here is a way to give a deposit without a trail purchase green dot www.getmygreen.com purchase them at CVS walgreens. gift card and reload green dot mc or visa they just give you the numbers even if you are out of state, reload the card online/phone and withdraw atm it is only 4.95 processing fee to purchase!!!!

First and foremost, let me say welcome!!!  The participation and advice of providers is ALWAYS welcomed here.

Paypal is no guarantee.  If a client pays through Paypal using a credit card he can still dispute the charge.  If he insists he did not receive goods/services contracted for they will usually rule in his favor.  And, how do you prove he received what he paid for?

thanks I did  I appreciate it too! Paul is great at MC I Just decided to go on my own. He understands. I cant work in my back yard and the call center he has drove me and some of the clients crazy other than that he is the best agency to work for. I have known him for years!

green dot can be purchased at CVS or Walgreens BP Rite Aid i did not mean to post web it was not to be spam just to help others with the deposit issues I should get stock in the co!!! LOL

Also I should have a web site with new pictures completed by December Im creative and want the prescence to be totally different from the usual. I will have your TER badge front and center promised!!! You all are terrific!!!!

not only that paypal will withdraw your account if you are doing escort activity!! They did it to a few of my friends before green dot is the way to go cash only and no trace of names ect!!! It is just as quick and easy

Anyone who gives a credit card to a provider deserves what ever he gets just like the idiot who goes for BB anything.
