If you have to pay for verification or to join a webcam site, it's a SCAM!

Since you're a stay at home dad, it's going to be very difficult to verify you..without references, which it sounds like you don't have! You might have a hard time finding a companion, at first.

First, the likelihood of being verified by an independent, unless you book with one who does not screen thoroughly or uses other screening methods, is slim with no POE.  You may find a reference friendly agency who will verify you or join a prescreening organization such as; Preferred 411, Datecheck or Room Service 2000.  They may have other screening methods not available to independent providers.

As for the "webcam" membership, let me ask you a few questions and you decide for yourself.  What does joining a webcam service prove?  What prevents a member of LE from setting up a webcam in his home and joining?  How would they know this person was LE (if he was sitting in his home in a t-shirt as I doubt he would sit there in uniform). And if they are doing this, supposedly for screening, are they asking you to show your face and I.D. via webcam to prove you are who you say you are.  How do you feel about the fact that they might save your photo and ID?
Heck,they might be able to decide whether your place is worth robbing from what they see on the webcam.

With all the warnings about seeing a provider with plenty of reviews, WHY would you even consider seeing someone without any??
