Jerryn1, When I started I was just like you. I too am self employed as well with the same delima. Here is what I did.

Went to my local regional board here on TER. Found a very well reviewed independent lady. Got her email adress and composed a very informative letter to her. I gave her tons of personal information on myself. I told her that I would also give her anything else that would make her feel safe.

Well, it worked , we met and it was fantastic in everyway. She knew I was a virgin to this new hobby of mine and gave me a very exciting time that I will always remember.

The next week I found another well reviewed lady locally from the TER board and contacted her only this time I had the one reference. She actually knew that provider well. They talked on the phone and I had an appointment the next day with reference #2!!

So after 2 weeks I had my two very good references and now I can see who, when and what I like as I have many more nice ladies to use.

Make sure and do your homework and you will really be opening a brand new exciting world!!

It can be very difficult to see a girl when you are a first timer. The lack of references can get you stonewalled, and it is understandable to a point as it is important that clients be screened for safety.

You might get lucky and have one be ok with your employment info only but it might take some effort.

I found it much easier to go through an agency the first time. Most don't require a reference from another provider as long as employment can be verified. You being a self employed gent might cause you problems in this avenue as well though. Not sure what can be suggested on that issue.

Another option is to use a referal service like Preferred411, Date Check, or RS2000.  Depending on where you live, some are more useful than others.

Las Vegas is one of those cities where you want to stick with an independent.  Read a few pages on the LV board and you will be better informed.

Vegas can be a great town for a hobbyist.  The choices are unlimited, which is both positive and negative. Make sure you do your homework, and go with a well reviewed indy provider. Remember, the escort makes the rules when it comes to references, it's for her safety and there is nothing more important to most ladies.
