I saw a ad that said no tantra/tantric and was wondering if this is actually common enough of a menu item to even be worth mentioning. I thought it was like a yoga / sexual healing thing. Admittedly the only thing I can really think of in regards to tantric is Finch from American Pie so I don't know much but wouldn't it require the other person to also know something about tantra also? I guess I was wondering if it means something else in hobby world because I feel it would be so uncommon it's like saying no sex in a baby pool filled with green jello.
it just means that the provider does not use tantra methods in her sessions with clients. The client does not need to know anything, just follow her directions. If it's not something you want, why worry about it? If you want it, find a provider that practices it.
In some places (NYC), you can not advertise "massage" unless you have a legitimate massage license. If you do not have a license, you can only offer body rub or something like that. LE has a MUCH easier time busting girls for offering massage w/o a license than for "time and companionship" with extras that just seem to happen.
Depending on where you are, "Tantric" might imply some kind of certification or license so the girl in the ad is saying "No tantra" to avoid false advertising or practicing tantra w/o a license.
Is Tantra some kind of registered trademark of the Tantra Society, Inc? They might go after those who offer Tantra (trademarked Tantra) without having paid the membership dues
but none of them have any kind of trademark whereby they can legally certify a person's standing to use that term.
I must admit that I have to scratch my head over a gal feeling like she has to go out of her way to inform potential clients that she is not a tantrika. It is like going out of your way to tell clients that you don't do mud wrestling or sex with their toes or any of the other outré practices that one occasionally sees.
But in overall terms in the hobby, it is far from the strangest thing I've seen mentioned.
