Hello all....I'm new to the site and I'd love soem advice. When receiving calls/emails from potential clients, what do I avoid saying as far as my offerings? I'm so worried about LE contacting me and I need to (as we all do) make sure I am not saying something that will bite me in the ass for a potential date! Opinions? Thoughts? Advice? Much appreciated!
You are offering time and companionship. Since you have a website, you can post ads on your regional board once every 7 days. On your site, the TER badge should be the link, you need to fix that on your site. Read the newbie manual, aka 'self-help center. The link is under the lifesaver at the top of this page. Pay close attention to stuff pertaining to providers.
Feel free to PM me if you have other questions. Good luck, Swim
Ugh...I cannot seem to get the link/emblem posting correct! I DO have much noted on my site about not speaking of "how" we will spend our time but once someone decides to contact me to book, they begin to put a little pressure on me saying they need to know what they are getting for their money and want something specific and want to know if I am willing to provide it. I'm new to this arena and I'm wanting to make sure I don't blow it before I get started! (no pun intended!) Thank you very much for your reply...I DO appreciate it!
It is not safe for you or the client to discuss activities & prices over the phone... or on line for that matter. There is somethings which just have to be taken on faith.
From what I hear, you'll always keep getting calls trying to pressure you into describing details of your services. You can't give in just to keep them from being frustrated.
Always speak in a way that will be safe if turns out he's a cop. Even barring that, the more indiscreet callers probably aren't likely to be good customers anyway.
OK, part of the problem is your website. As one gigantic page it is hard to find any useful information about you as most of us are not going to read through the whole thing to find info we need to make a decision. Plus you need at least some hand held photos up while waiting for professional ones. My first thoughts were, not even one picture of you and you want me to send all that information and pictures of myself to you, no way!
Secondly your page looks like a very restrictive list of what you want with little information of what we would be getting. The site should selling you not a dating ad. Only men between 40 and 50 yet no mention of your age. Basically the sites gives the reader not one useful bit of information as to why they would want to see you, so the calls you do get will of course be pressuring for info. If you had reviews and pictures they could check them out and they would not worry too much about your site. As it is your site does little to give any reason to see you. I don't even really know if your a provider, a massage only, or a legitimate companion nothing more lady. You don't have to be graphic but we need more info.
Take a look at some of the other ladie's sites to see how they have set things up. There are some hosting sites with boilerplate pages where you just plug your information in. I think one of those would be better for you at this point.
it may limit my contact, but I feel it is safer and more efficient. My first contact will always be via e-mail. It has worked very well for me.
With that being siad, I get e-mails that say, "I am new at this, please let me know what to do and what you offer". Things like that. Not wanting to judge just based on that, I always e-mail them back and say "Great, I would be glad to help you, however,if you have not already done so, please review my website ........ for all pertinent details, locations, etc". If you would then like to schedule an appointment please provide me with your choice of one of my three screening options and we will go from there! Have a great day!
Everything they need is on my website. EVERYTHING. After that there should be no questions. Some are very precise and thorough after reading through the site.
Now the ones that I hear back from typically apologize and were just lost and new. However, the majority I don't hear back from I put in my "questionable file" in case they are dumb enough to use the same email again.
Only after the date is scheduled and only 12-24 hours prior to the appointment do I call them or give them my phone number. Then after the session I promptly remove it from my phone. If they would like to schedule again, they just e-mail and then we can have phone contact prior to the appointment again.
