personally, I am not a fan of sticking within my race (multi-racial) when providing. If I were, I would have no clients, given they have all been white or Caucasian thus far! I will stick with being open. However, some providers do have limits with whom they will see based on race, and that is their business. Great question! xoxo ~Giamarie

Some do Some don't  It's a personal choice, just like it's a personal choice if you as a hobbyist want to go outside your race. Same thing!

Do some research there is more than enough posts on this topic alone to keep you busy for quite a while.

The beauty of it is this is your own business, you run it however the way you please.  You'd be limiting yourself and you wouldn't get as much business, but it's your personal choice.

Make sure that your clients are aware of this.

to ask for a description of the person seeking your services. It looks really tacky to specify a race or set of races you are willing / not willing to see. It is your business, just as it is anyone's personal choice, to determine who they will or will not be with. But this can be done in a manner that does not contribute to the racial tensions in our society.

Being a product of a military love affair (Hawaiian and Panamanian), I never met another client who had the same ethnic background such as myself.

If I only sought out to have meetings with friends who were the same race as me, I would of been homeless years ago.

No seriously, I am open to all races. My criteria is that my friends are at least 33 years old and well-groomed business professionals.
