Yes, i know of a couple vegas providers that have been busted.  It can happen. Don't ask me why they waste there time with independents, but they do.

From what I am reading, LE is really after the low hanging fruit. I can't imagine why/how they would waste their time trying to bust an independent provider ( the kinds who post on this forum )? Anyone known if it has ever happened?

Yes, even independents well-known on TER have been nabbed.  It isn't a frequent occurrence, but Uncle Leo is always out there, so one slip-up in screening may be all they need.  As for us hobbyists, one ill-advised TOFTT may be all that's needed for them to nail us.  So always be diligent, and never let your guard down.

it's usually because someone tipped them off about that particular indy (angry rival, ex-SO, something like that). Sometimes it's just a fluke; a cop in the vicinity overhearing the client talking. So, yes, it happens, but not nearly as often as w/ SW (cops want the pimps off the streets and out of those girls' lives more than they want the girls).

It seems that most that get busted are not experienced ladies.  Ones that screen, hobbyists who are well referenced and are checked out thru and thru are the ladies that never get busted.

Providers I know who say they're Indy, usually tell they were busted once are twice through out their careers.

Some have said either they were testing out a new area, and got busted for not screening all the way or got snicthed on by someone.

I guess LE may go for the "low hanging fruit" because they are easier to get to. High scale providers do so much screening LE won't even bother with them. (I guess)

And they've busted numerous ter reviewed ladies. Don't think they "only" go after low hanging fruit.
