Recently retired.  Has anyone used a service to be verified when retired, or is work info required in all cases?

However, the major verification services will help you out.  (Room Sevice, etc.)

Also, I would suggest that you contact some providers who are not as intent on getting references and write a sincere  email (Not too long, they don't need your autobiography.) describing your situation.  Remember, spelling and grammar do count.

Some gals will take a chance on you and then you will have a reference and should be all set.

Im retired, too.  Preferred411.com worked with me to verify my identity.  I had to FAX them some pension info, but that was all.  I've never had a provider turn down a p411 member.

Mr Fisher is correct. I would make exceptions for retired gents if they write a sincere email, tell me where they saw my ad, let me know they are a TER member, no long stories, just explain you are retired and new to the hobby.
Please remember, do not discuss secific sexual acts.
Recently had the same issue with a gent, no references, very little info to verify but he sounded good, set up an appointment but then I believe he became a little too comfortable after our conversation and sent an email about a specific sexual act he wanted to try and ask if I take cash or credit cards.  That made me a little too nervous so I had to cancel the appointment.
Read reviews and websites to find out if the provider offers what you are looking for.

Maybe go to an agency. My first time, that is what I did. Agent took my name, phone number and drivers licence number, took about a half hour, called me back and I was all set. I was then able to set up incall appointments with two great ladies! Plus, she cleared me for other providers. A reputable agency will do that.
