Most of my appointment requests are 90 minutes and 2 hours. Both of those times are the most enjoyable for me. I don't enjoy a 1 hour appointment because is seems to go too fast, and many clients expect me to go an extra 15+ minutes past an hour. (I'll do an extra 5-10 minutes, but that's it.)  

because my minimum is two hours; however I suspect a goodly size of the market is one hour and less, and therefore you could be limiting yourself.

I never have booked a 1 hour date. 90% are 2 hours with a rare 1&1/2 hour date.
Its just what I prefer

I'm not married and own my own bus. so security isn`t my top priority. I`ve just started hobbying and have seen the same lady 2x for 1hr and it was awesome but pressured time-wise for me.
95% of her clients are married businessmen who can`t do 90+ mins so she only does 1 hr. She specializes in high end caution, discreteness and security for them and I respect that. This works for them but not for me, as much as I like her, moving on to 90+ mins girls and will see how  that works.
It would be so nice if some providers would meet n greet for 1/2 hr for coffee/ drink  to help "warm-up" OTC even.

Let's say I have an appointment from 12-1. I leave my office at around 11:20 to travel the 25 minutes to see her (leaving extra time for mass transit delays). I leave her place around 1:10 and am back at my office around 1:35..... That's already 2 hours and 15 minutes out of the office.

What do you have to loose? If your business slows down and that's unacceptable to you, you can always go back to 1 hour appointments. And as another poster mentioned, if you have "good" clients who book an hour session you can always grandfather them in.  

Never my foot. I've left early before. I'm a one-shot kind of guy, and often I lose all interest in being there once I've come home, so to speak.

I very much agree with this, but would possibly add in what Ginger said as well. Rather than lose all of the business that offering 1 hour appointments brings, maybe do a slight increase on your hourly rate to accommodate for the fact that they typically go a little over an hour. Personally, I would "grandfather" existing clients in at the old rate, but as with everything else that's up to you.  
 

Well of course money has a hand in it - if her hourly rate is $500 and I have to pay $1000 for a 2 hr session but can only stay for the hour that is just wasting money for me. I'd be paying twice as much for half the time. Yeah sure any provider would no doubt love it immensely, but it's a terrible business arrangement from the hobbyists's POV.  

I prefer to do longer than 1 hour, (90 minutes to 2 hours) but I don't like to pay full, top tier rates for the second hour. In many cases, ladies ask for an additional $400-$500 for the second hour. Beyond the penetration itself which for me usually lasts 20-minutes, the rest of the time on my dates is spent getting comfortable with each other, undressing, foreplay, then talking afterwards and then getting dressed again. It makes sense to me to pay an additional $100-$200 more than a standard 1 hour rate for an additional 30 minutes, or second hour as a combined package total (like 2 hours for $550 as opposed to $350 for one hour). I do understand there are many rate structures and factors that go into what any given lady charges in any given market, but the price range I stay in is $300-$500 per hour... so when I see a lady that offers $550 - $750 for 2 hours, Ill always book longer appointments so I am not in a rush.

I agree, I also hate one hour appointments because the type of clientele is different from longer bookers and almost uniformly they want to overstay. So to rectify this situation, I made a tweak to my donation structure. I still offer one hours because I tour frequently and realize that some people simply don't have time for more than an hour. But my one hour donation is very close to my 90 minute donation so I am encouraging the longer appointment. Hope that helps

Honestly for years when I had a one hour rate it seemed like it took at least one hour and 15-20 minutes. I never said anything about it taking more than an hour I just decided back in 2013 to do away with my one hour availability all together and have a minimum of 1.5 hours and never looked back. I think it's a nice compromise and has worked out well for me.

Most 1-hour guys seem to think that 1 hour means "about" 1 hour, which, in hobbyist-speak, translates to "about 90-ish minutes, or however long I can lay here before she kicks me out."

I'm personally not a fan of 1 hour dates as well
