Feeling a little nervous about giving an agency my info. I am now a p411 member, but shortly after getting verified, I found that there are not many newbie friendly providers in my area. I am now looking at going with an agency but they want my info. for their screening process. They say the discard the info after verification, but who knows if they really do this. Seems like staying with a well reviewed independent is more safe. I am interested in hearing everyones thoughts.
I too just got P411 and some of the agencies won't take me unless I have Okays. I can understand why they are so protective however P411 is not cheap and they are very thorough with verifications. How else are we supposed to get okays or references if no one is willing to let us in?
I would recommend you stick with well-reviewed newbie friendly providers until you get some references. Not really sure how agencies look at refs from verification sites like P41. If you have got membership there with no provider refs, Gina has checked you out and you should be good to go with a provider that is a member of that site.
I have two providers refs on P411 and I have found that some providers still ask for more screening information. I think some providers are only using P411 as just another advertising vehicle and not really for screening.
