If you contact a provider and you don't get a response. Is it rude to contact a few more providers at the same time? I just don't want to be rude and contact 2 more providers and all of the sudden have  been contacted by all 3 in one day!!  Patience is a virtue and I have it but, I want to start my new hobby!!

Thanks

If you have a help wanted add in the paper and seven  prospective employees call do you tell them all after the first one "sorry I already have a interview this month? "

Personally, I check my emails regularly through out the day, depending on the feel of the contact I either email right away or I do a few checks & then respond. I would think a 24hr window for a response is within reason. Maybe longer depending on the provider handles her affairs- I've seen a few state 24-48hrs.

I would check out all 3 of your possibilities & then decide. You can always request a screening for a future meeting:) Good-Luck!

Two days, and then send her another email. If I don't hear back by the following day, I move on. I think that three days is enough time to respond. There have been a couple of times when a lady has gotten back to me after that. If that happens, be sure to let her know that you have made other arrangements, out of courtesy.

If I want something for that day and I make the call at 11AM, I wait 1 hour before making the next call.  Once I have locked something in, I usually get a call a couple of hours later from the first provider.  Since I like to hobby, I will set something up with her for the next week.  Everybody wins.  TER is the world's best adult candy store and I have a sweet tooth.  I think everybody here does.

well I don't think its rude they will need time to check your refs anyway so contact as many as you want and get verified even if you can not see them for a while you will be ahead of the game.

Absolutely not rude, remember providers have families, jobs, etc. they are NOT always waiting by a computer or a phone for your call. If you contact by phone and leave a # also tell them what time of the day they can reach you and mention it's ok to call you back at those times. I like to schedule at least 24hrs in advance, which many providers like. Always be a gentleman and respectful and you'll do fine

I emailed a lady on April 21, and had pretty much given up hope of hearing back from her...

April 28... I get a reply.  She had been out of USA for two weeks.

Took a while for us to meet in person, but we finally did, and we really hit it off.  Can't wait to see her again.

In light of current environment, she asked for no review.

I don’t think its Rude at all! It just depends on how long you are willing to wait, and how bad you want to see that provider. And also the widow of time that you have to try and see her. If she does not call you within an hour, chances are she’s not going to! If you have not left a message, a few things may have occurred. Your phone number has been kicked out of her phone. She’s not working at the time that you call. Or she is seeing so many clients that she doesn’t have time to call back.
I preferably don’t leave messages unless I am sure about the provider. You gotta be careful with that cause if you are leaving several messages and she is not calling you back, it’s a possibility that it is a LET, or she thinks you are an LET.
Don’t call back to back to back. They get annoyed by that and “NO” your number (save your number as NO or don’t answer), then you will never reach her, and she will never call you back. Only make repeated calls in 30 - 45 min increments. That way if she is in session, you are not being a pest and disturbing someone else’s good time.  I personally hate it when I’m with a provider, and her phone is constantly ringing; and even worse if she is constantly checking it, or answers it. After several attempts to call with no answer or returned call, you might want to move on to the next one.
If you have called several providers, and one calls back after you have already set an appt., just apologize and tell her you dialed the wrong number. That’s provided that you have not left a message on her voicemail.
If you do decide to leave a message, make it short and sweet. No long drawn out messages. Just your name, and number, and when she can call you back if there is a time frame. Don’t state your intentions on the message.
Waiting 2 day for a provider to call you back seems too long for me. Ridiculous even!  I’ve never received a call back after two days. I don’t think you will either.
I don’t really do the email thing so, I can’t really comment on that.
Hope this helps. These are just my opinions and suggestion stemming from my experiences only. I welcome criticism, or other suggestions from all who read this.
