Hi everyone! I am new to my area and it is a much bigger city than the one I moved from. I have never had to worry about having reviews to get called, etc... Other than only having 1 review (not on this site), I was wondering if providers think they get more business doing incall? Or if the hobbyist prefer incall to outcall? I've only ever done outcall but I'm starting to think that might be part of the problem where I am now.
Any opinions or suggestions are really appreciated!!

that when I hobby in my own town, I want to visit a lady's incall.  When I am traveling, I want the lady to come to my hotel.  At home, I don't want the added expense of paying for the hotel room for the date.  When I'm in a strange city, perhaps without a car, I don't want the bother of finding an address.  Hope this helps with your decision.

Even when I travel, which is a lot, I prefer incall. If you mention the  city you're in,you might get specifics for that city.

First: I prefer incall under most circumstances.  

So how does that effect you in your new city? Well, (1) you need TER reviews (2) you need an incall and (3) you need clients.  I am going to suggest that you look to the agencies in your new (larger) city and see if there is a fit for you there.  

If you join an agency, you benefit from their good reputation and credibility.

A lot of things have to match up:  
- your rates and preferences - an agency usually has their own range and won't have a wide ranging list from $X to $XXX. You can't list for $XXX with an agency in the $XX range.
- the agency will take a portion of the fee (but they do a lot of work for you)
- you must be able to trust the agency's screening policies
- you and the agency must agree on scheduling (number of clients per day; in-between time; etc.)
- etc.

A few months with an agency can get you up and running fairly quickly.  

Some agencies have very successful and friendly relationships with their girls who eventually go indy. Very often, the relationships continue post-indy even with occasional return visits or part-time agency commitments (SuMT--FSa is your time; W, Th you work for them).

Some agencies have been known to screw their girls who go indy (keep control of their profiles and P411 accounts, keep their pics, etc.)

Ask on your local board about the agencies and which ones are good to their staff and those that are vindictive, mean bastards towards staff that choose to leave them.

Thanks so much for the info!  I am in the Raleigh/Durham area. I was with an agency in the beginning about 6 years ago and went indy after a few months when I got the hang of things. I'm considered "mature" now so some things are a little different

I am in the Raleigh/Durham area if anyone has specific advice about the area.

I don't know your area, but there are agencies in Boston and NYC where you might have fit in (depending on other crucial variables, most importantly $ to match their range). Some of the ladies (yeah, I switched from girls to ladies ) on their sites would also tour to other agencies in other areas on the East Coast; their escort Profiles has URLs for boston-agency and new_jersey-agency and so on. I just don't remember any specific Raleigh-Durham agencies as I never hobby there.

It still might be worth getting a feel for the friendliness of the local agencies by asking on the local boards if it will get you over the hump.

I only do incall.  Even if my living arrangements permitted outcalls, I would probably not do it, just my preference.  I prefer for the lady to feel comfortable in her surroundings, and incall takes care of that.  I have done incalls to private residences, apartments, hotel/motel rooms, it really doesn't matter that much to me as to where the incall is.

Thanks so much for that advice!! I did try to list my website in the beginning and they denied the post so I was nervous about doing it again. Good to know these things

...since when I book a room for an outcall ladies sometimes  either cancel or do a NCNS which means I eat the cost of the room. Just not worth the risk. At least with an incall if she cancels I'm not out any additional cash for a not used hotel room.

I agree wholeheartedly with this idea. I was independent for my first 8 months as a provider and then went with a highly recommended agency for a few months. It was an experience that taught me ALOT! Also, it gave me way more exposure and gave me a chance to build my reputation. The owner of that agency is an amazing person that I still consider the be a great friend!  
If you feel that the agency route is definitely not for you, then I do recommend offering incall options. For many clients, outcall simply isn't an option. Personally I don't keep a permanent incall for various reasons. Other options include researching which hotels are safe and not nosy about what's going on or making friends with providers in your area that might be willing to "rent" space in their incall when you need it and scheduling allows for it.
