While many providers on P411 have websites, Twitter accounts and/or TER reviews there are some providers on P411 who have none of those things. How do you evaluate such providers? For example, there's a NYC provider I'm interested in who has three pictures and has given 38 Okays. Two of her photos are professional and the third is a candid that shows her unblurred face. She's been a P411 member for four years and logs in about once a week. Her rate is $600/hr. That's all the information available. P411 has an option to email a provider without requesting an appointment. Do any hobbyists do that in order to obtain more information about a provider who has no website, reviews or social media presence? If so, what kind of questions do you ask?
She at least has gone through whatever screening P411 does these days. But with Gina gone you have no idea what exactly that is. So since there are lots of well-known women in NYC, I'd go with one of them.
However this is a "do as I say, not as I do" kind of answer.
As a newbie you should be sticking to the lowest risk providers possible, which would include "Well reviewed providers you find on P 411" not providers that you find ANYWHERE who are not reviewed.
That said, if it were me and I was feeling a bit reckless I might DM the lady in question and ask her "is there anywhere else I might be able to find out a little more about you, like maybe any reviews perhaps?"
It is possible that she has reviews somewhere other than TER, but as was pointed out to you above, with all the well reviewed, quality providers available to you in your area, why are you feeling the need to test out an unreviewed provider?

Why not post a question on the NY regional board about her? I'm sure some of the TER members from that area also have P411 and some might be who got the okays.
Granted, it's a bit of a low probability play but also doesn't really require much effort. If you are really interested in seeing her, and not finding some else with more verifiable presence that fits your standards what's to loose? I would guess you might have some time on your hands -- which might be better used than getting something else on them.
