I'd be curious about this too. I've been e-mailing some requests, but have gotten no responses to far. I'm thinking it's time to get the phone running. Any preferences from the ladies?
I am trying to set up first experience. I read the reviews and sent an email to the provider. I gave my name, job, city I live in and a contact info to a wrestler I worked with in the past since that was the closest I could come to a reference.
How long is appropriate to wait on a response before sending a second request, or should I just assume something in the original email turned her off to the request? Is sending a second request considered bad form?
Is it appropriate to give a contact number in the initial email?
The only references a provider is interested in are going to come from other providers. Don't waste your time contacting a lady who wants references if you don't have any. Just try another lady.
On the issue of references. Sometimes a provider will accept personal/work related information instead of provider references. It never hurts to ask if other verification means are acceptible. If not, they'll tell you and you can move on.
If you are band new and dont have references send an initial email let her know you are serious about meeting and ask her what info she needs from a newbie for her to be comfortable meeting ...THEN send the info she want's if you have it and can provide it.
if shes got a form fill that out as best you can, put in the more info filed that you are new and can provide additional info if she needs it.
if you dont get a response then, shes likely not newbie friendly. some are some are not.
Myself personaly will respond to an email asap. I have my Blackberry always on hand, so I am super fast!
Unless I am busy or in an appt, then sometimes I will respond 2 to 4hours later after the initial email. Everyones different, but I want your business so I feel like its better to respond sooner then later.
I am actually brand new to this too and have a couple questions of my own for the people and providers here! Is it best to contact the provider through their website, email, or phone? If we contacted a provider through a website, got no response within 24-48 hours or so, is it too much to email through personal email beyond that? And how much personal information do we reveal about ourselves in the initial email? Thank you!
