Date-Check problem

Try to find a provider that is a member of date check and she will be able to send you a referral for a free 3 month membership. With her referral you will not need to jump through all of the hoops in order to become a member.

I'm retired, so I've been unable to fill out the form to join Date-Check.  I'm a former hobbyist who's been inactive for many years, so I pre-date the Internet sex world.  What do I need to do to join Date-Check (or any other site that will work with providers) to get around this problem?

Its a bit more difficult if you dont have a place of employment and have no references because that is kind of what you need.

The websites that do the provider services  call you at your place of work as an anonymous caller and verify you throught that. Otherwise you need a ref for others like date check.

Yes, I understand that but live and work from home (wife!) and haven't been with a provider since the early '90s.  Sounds like a catch-22, but I assume there must be some way to deal with it.  I just don't know what.  Anybody???

Get a reference from the website. Find a provider that will do that for you.

Please suggest one.  I'd be grateful.

I think that I faced similar questions - proably around the same age bracket as you except that I was a total newbie 2 years ago, self employed. Will be happy to share my experiences in going thorugh the approval process at greater length if you want to PM me.  Was not as painful as I anticipated and I am now perf411 as well as date-check. Good luck.

...after seeing a provider who was a member herself. It was at her suggestion that I use her as a referral to join the site (a member provider of DateCheck can verify that she has seen you and will vouch for your legitimacy as a hobbyist), since we hit it off well and she was amenable to providing references to other providers that she though I would get along with.

Once I had her referral as verification, I paid the one-time lifetime membership fee (relatively reasonable) and that settled the issue (so far). I have yet to engage the services of a provider since having moved 1200 miles from the former home base, but I can log onto the DateCheck website and review provider options in my new home area. So far, so good --

Sorry to be so lame, but what does "PM" mean and how do I do that?

Thanks, but for me it's kind of a chicken-and-egg situation since I haven't seen a provider yet and it seems like, in order to see a decent one, you've got to already have DateCheck or one of the others like it.  Can someone recommend a provider connected to DateCheck who would see me first and then give me a reference, or give me a reference beforehand.  I mean, c'mon, I'm retired, almost 65 and, even though I look OK for my age, it's pretty obvious I'm no LEO.
