I believe when you ignore a user, all it does is make their posts go blank. It will say "user ignored" in the subject line, and the content will be blank. But they can still see your posts unless they ignore you too. Personally I never saw the need for the ignore button. to me if you want to ignore someone, you just don't open or read their posts. I don't think you need a button for that. On the other hand if it worked the way you mention, (made you invisible to them) then maybe it would make sense.

Only you will not see his posts. Everyone else will, so if he posts another NCNS thread about you everyone will see it but you.
