Thank you very much, sis. I'm going to check this out
Stay safeHello.All:
I'm a Masseuse.English is not my first language. Please excuse my poor English
Here is my question: How do you handle a guy who texts /called you from an App number.
How can I identify an app number?
Today I had a client no-show/Time Waster. I use my usually step to verified he's phone and no info was pop-up. I'm 100% sure this is an app number and he downloaded to play games with the providers. The thing about app number is they can always get rid of one number and get a new number keep playing the stupid game.
Any suggestion?
Much appreciated it
can't verify a hobbyist, then don't make an appointment.
Do you mind me to ask what is a hobbyist?
I'm kind of new ."Hobbyist" means "John"?
Yes; hobbyist, john, client - they mean pretty much the same thing.

In my case it means "Jane"
what she needs to feel comfortable meeting a new prospective client. And it does vary. A lot of guys, use a hobby phone or an app for their protection. A lot of ladies do the same... Only you can decide wjat YOU need. There will always be NCNSs. Means No Call No Show. It happens both ways. It's been done to me. I've never done so to anyone.
You might ask for a way of verifying him or referances from other providers. Details of screening techniques should be discussed in private via email or PM, not on a public forum.
And I am answering a question that you didn't even ask! I see that you do NOT provide FS (full service) and primarily provide massage. I do not know your city (Minneapolis), but some cities have laws and regulations about massage services. In many places, only someone with training and certification can advertise "massage" services. In some places, they even need a license from the city or state.
.
So why is this important? In those places, LE (law enforcement; police) have a much easier time making a case against ILLEGAL MASSAGE than against anything else that happens during the meeting. They don't care about kissing or touching or even more. It is too difficult for them to prove anything like that before a judge. "She gave me a HJ (hand job), your Honor." "Where is the proof?" "Well, it got flushed down the toilet." "Get out of here. NEXT CASE!"
.
Instead, they arrest the "masseuse" for "practicing massage without a license" or something like that. That's an easy conviction for them. "Here is the advertisement: it says massage. She has no certificate and no license." "Yes. GUILTY!"
.
In some locations, it might be more specific. "CMT" means "CERTIFIED Massage Therapist." "LTM" means LICENSED Therapeutic Massage. "FBSM" is full body sensual massage. Unlicensed "massage" is allowed, but unlicensed LTM is not. "LTM" means state licensed and properly trained so anyone advertising "LTM" must have all her paperwork to prove she is qualified.
.
What to do? Check the law in your area. Do "massage therapist" or "therapeutic massage" or "masseuse" or similar services require certified training (from a school or training center that certifies that you learned all the material and know how to do it) in your area? Is there a state "massage license" ($25? $50? $100? annual fee, paid to the state) required? If so, consider changing your ads to offer "Body Rub" or "Relaxing Body Rub" "Soothing Body Rub" "Muscle Relaxation Body Rub" or whatever words AVOID making a claim that you are a certified, licensed masseuse who does licensed massage. "I am not a CMT or LTM. However, I provide a high quality, thoroughly relaxing body rub to loosen stiff muscles and leave you refreshed." or something like that. That way, LE has no case: "Illegal massage! No license!" "But officer, I do not advertise or offer massage. I only offer relaxing body rub."
.
The states are not picking on "massage" only! Many states require that anyone calling themselves a barber (haircuts; shaves) must be trained and licensed by the state. And so many more jobs need proof of training and licensing.
