Emailing the ID and business card is something I would not have done. Now she has all of your business contact information, not to mention your address, if the ID you sent was your driver's license. I might have offered to show her the ID upon meeting, but to put it in an email is something you probably don't want to do again.
You should probably send her another email, asking if she got your information. If you still get no response, then you should move on. There's nothing you can do about the information she already has. The best you can hope for is that is doesn't come back to bite you in the ass, although she has no reason to use it against you at this point. Just don't piss her off...ever!!!
I got in contact with my 2nd attempt at getting a provider through P411. We emailed back and forth and on one message she said "if you dont have 2 references ill need your ID and business card". So i decided to take a picture of my ID and Biz card and email it from my blackberry. I havent gotten an email back from her in 2 days. Did i just fuck up? I dont mean just ruining the date but also my Identity?
I work as an inspector for a municipality so the only thing i can think of is that she might have gotten confused and recognized the business card as a Law Enforcement card? I dont have a criminal record at all so if she checked me out i would be fine. Should i still try to pursue this?

I agree...bad move. Some providers check licenses at the start of a session but its a glance and no opportunity to write down any info. Not much you can do and, to be honest, there is little she can do with it either but it would make me feel "icky" if I was in your shoes.
Identity theft is a serious problem right now and having all that information (including license number, name and address) could make Mr. Retrojoke an easier target. Even if she doesn't do it, with the economy in its current state, she might be tempted to sell that information to someone with nefarious intentions.
Good thing you didn't send a Passport scan or SSN card scan, or you'd really be fucked.
If so, your information should be safe. If not, then all you can do is hope. Most providers are honest. However, it only takes one bad one to hurt us all.
Secondly, when you sent the business card, did you send any explanation with it so she would not get confused? For instance a statement like "I am a building inspector for XXXXX.". If not, mention this in your FINAL followup message. If she does not respond, move on!
Not because you sent this to a provider. It’s just a very bad idea, in general, to email personal identification like a drivers license (or, any type of official picture ID) to ANYone over the Internet; especially to someone you don’t know.
Not much you can do about that now other than follow-up with her and ask if she got it. She will either respond..or not..
