I read the faq and rules about provider posts.

I'm still confused about the best spot to introduce yourself if you're new. I have a feeling here isn't quite the place for that.

Do you post a newbie greeting in "General Discussion" or your local regional discussion board?

This is the place for newbies to introduce themselves and ask questions about how to use this site. But you can also post on the General Discussion Board and your local discussion board.
Having read the FAQs, please let us know if you have any questions.

Here is fine but will not get you much notice. Mostly a place to get help on things you don't understand about the site, or the industry in general.

Posting on both the GD or your regional board is a better introduction. But your introduction on your local board will be better in terms of introducing yourself to potential customers. If you tour or plan on regularly touring to certain locations the local boards there would be good to introduce yourself on a bit before your planned trip.

Just read the FAQ before hand so you're not seen as posting ads rather than just saying Hi. You can post the announcement of your tour to some location if you follow the guide lines but coming across as posting theADs (a thread that is really not a discussion but an Ad) won't win you any friends and might not help your business.

Hi, I'm Chrystal, a Brazilian resident of Fort Lauderdale (Florida) I'm new here and it's a little confusing for me to understand how to act here on the site! I hope you help me with this and I also hope I'm not doing anything wrong! If I have, please correct me!
