Hi everyone. I'm new to this site and want to sign up as a provider in NYC. How do I get my services listed and do I need my own web site in order to do so?

Here's a couple of things you can do that will help answer your questions.

#1 - Right above the board is a "search messages" button. Click on that. In the search box labeled "author" put in "welcome" and in the day range put in 60. You'll see a TON of posts from the newbie Mod Jazz32 using TERs_Welcome_Wagon as the handle. When Jazz welcomes new ladies he always gives great information.
For example back on 7/15 he welcomed a new lady with the following:

"Advertising on TER is done on TER's regional boards. In addition to taking part in the discussion, you can post one ad every seven days. In your ad you can announce your days and hours, list your phone number and email address, post a photo, etc. You can also post a link to your escort mall ad, or your personal website IF your site displays the TER badge or banner.

Good Luck,

jazz32"

So read his posts. And spend some time reading the other posts. There's a lot of good information in them. I think you'll find the newbie board a pleasant place to stop. You'll also find the NY board (look to the left for the REGIONAL BOARDS - then NY) to be helpful.

#2 Also right above this board is a link to { Acronyms, and newbies' Manual }. Click there and read through the newbies manual that you'll find useful.

Hope that helps answer some of your questions.

Thought I'd share some ideas until the great and powerful Jazz gives you the official TER welcome!

So welcome and stay safe!

PS - Jazz - not looking to steal your thunder, again :-D - just trying to lend a helping hand! LOL

First I think you should know that TER is basically a Review Board, not really an ad site. The fastest way to get your services 'listed' will be with the Profile Page that is set up when you get a hobbyist here to write a review on you, for that you do not need a website, just a valid ad site anywhere on the internet.

Also, you can write TER staff about a limited or paid membership, I am not sure about all the details on that but they will be happy to assist you. Then you can place an ad on the Regional Board once per week, provided your ad or website meet the proper criteria. Hope this helps.

By the way, where can I find this TER banner? I've just finished putting together a basic web site and I'd really like to advertise it on the boards.

Alex.

Hi Wild Turkey.

I've actually already signed up for a month's VIP membership here (I will renew it for a longer period if the site seems useful). Does this mean I can place an ad on the regional boards without putting the TER banner on my site?

Alex.

I looked through some previous posts from the newbie mod god Jazz and he has previously suggested that for assistance on the TER banner:

"Adding the badge to your site is easy, email me at [email protected] if you need help."

Sorry I can't help with specifics....

No, I think the TER banner must be there on your website or the Mod. will not allow a link to it. I could be wrong cause I am not a provider and do not place ads (LOL), but I think you can put an ad on the Regional Board and just put a link to an Ad site, like Eros. Once you have a review, you can just put a link to your Profile Page, that I do know...

BTW: As a provider you can get a 'limited' VIP membership that is free. You should check into the pros and cons on that as well.
