I've hear of reviews being rejected because they weren't graphic enough

I am posting this in public because I do not know how to PM the admin.

I have only limited posting history on TER, but I have been reading for a long period, and has met many providers. I do want to share my experience, so I posted first of the 20+ reviews that I plan to write. But it is not approved based on my limited history on TER.

While I understand the reason for this decision and respect this, I have to say that it is going to be difficult for me to wait until I create a posting history on TER for two reasons.

1. It takes time to write a review, I am doing this purely for others benefit, it took me around 30 minutes to type that review and to have it not approved means a lot of time wasted for nothing.

2. It takes time to create posts, I am mostly a reader, to create a history is going to take more time on top of writing all the reviews.

Since time is of value to me, I am not going to post anymore reviews, since admins are going to deny anyway I see no point spending all that time.

Just wondering though, how many posts are needed before admins decide they can post the review?

A first time reviewer of a first treview provider is always suspect, with good reason.  If you dont feel like bothering then that's your privledge.  If we all felt this way, there would be no reviews.
Your board post history, and your log in history does make a difference, as well as reviews submitted.
If you review a provider who already has some reviews, your review will go up much more quickly.  I'd suggest submitting a review for an already reviewed provider next.
You have 90 days to post a review.  A review that is not accepted can be rewritten (if there's a reason given) or resubmitted after she has reviews or you get more of a history.  You can see this by clicking on "account manager" at the top of the screen.

You can use the "contact us" link at the top of the screen.

This review was for a well established provider with many reviews, moreover, my ratings and comments are not out of line with what others before me has done. So I don't see why it would cause a suspicion other than my short history. Anyhow, I'll try to contact the admins and see if this can be resolved.

About my comment on not posting reviews again, I spent quite a bit of time writing up the review, so I feel disappointed naturally, and I have to consider time spent is of value. Let's see what the admins have to say on this, based on that I may decide to post reviews again.

I recently saw an out of town client for the for the first time and encouraged him to join TER and see if he liked it and leave me a review. I think he got me from my review on there. Anyway, I did not realize that to post a review on here, the person posting had to have been a long standing member. That explains alot.

any advice for me to give clients in the future?

It helps but not 100%.  Anyone can be denied review based upon many things.  Most commonly your client was too lazy to rewrite it or chose not to write one and said they did.  I would figure one of those two answers covers it.  You have a bunch of reviews, so it's not that you are a newbie.

You advice was fine.

My happy butt has helped them redo their reviews. (three guys)  They want sexually terms.  Some guys don't want to, I understand that... however I know what TER wants or basically the guys want.

I am thankful recently that I helped another out whom is quite far away but  I may visit myself if I ever get in that area.  I read far more than what is in the reviews and she deserves a 12 on the scale ;)  Not going to share because I am a "good girl" but she deserved better than a 10.

Yes you do have to be graphic, and although it can be demeaning towards providers... It can help us out.

The people that approve reviews are unlikely to read every post.  You got a good suggestion; you should contact support and plead your case.

Please don't take this wrong...TER is better off by having more reviews.  Still, I'd personally prefer it to be difficult to get one approved rather than posting everything that gets written without regard to truthfulness.

You admit that you post very infrequently and that this was your first review.  Can you not see how that would be viewed skeptically?
