Preferred 411 is another great verification site. I'm sure it would be a pain to get verified with another site, but again it's a one time process and then it's over. You can do an advanced search on there for ladies who are open to newbies. Most of them will want more info to verify you if you don't already have an ok but I've seen many providers listing as "newbie friendly". Good luck!
I've been on the ter and date check for a little while and never really seen anyone yet. I went to try an agency, I emailed them about screening and that I had no references and they replied back rather quickly and said to just fill out the form anyway. I did, seen they checked my profile at date check and then never heard from them again. Tried contacting them twice by email because the phone # don't work and still nothing.
I contacted an independent provider and she told me she would feel more comfortable if I have seen at least one other provider.
I'm falling into the catch 22. However,I've read a lot of these forums and I haven't come across my particular issue yet with the agency and no contact back. A lot of the forums say to get a date check membership which I have but still got this problem. Any ideas anyone.
Providers if you got any ideas or could help in any way that would be greatly appreciated.
Being a client, I'm not (and should not be) privy to the various screening methods that ladies use for their safety. However there are lots of clients who may not have everything requested. Retired or self employed will not have work referances. New clients obiviously will not have provider referances. This may be a deal breaker for some but not for others who use some other means to verify you. I'd suggest looking at some independant providers in your area. Make sure they are well reviewed here on TER. Contact them through their prefered means. Be honest that you are new, do not have referances yet but will give them what ever else they need to verify you. This worked for me as I was both New & Retired. skb
The Date-Check account is a nice start. However many ladies (such as myself) would never feel comfortable handing our personal safety over to someone else's screening. I accept Date-Check as well though will want additional information for my own assurance if you have no vouches.
Sooner or later you will meet someone who is ok trusting Date-Check enough to do the screening for them in entirety. If not, you may have to go ahead and let a lady do her screening directly... then she can vouch for you on Date-Check, and your trust factor will go up 100%.

Thank you all for the great feedback. And to keystonekid, I just checked to be sure there wasn't a spot for it because I didn't remember if there was. It didn't ask for it, it just wanted to screen you first and then I guess if you past there process they would ask you when and with who.
