That won't do a thing for the fact that his login and password auto populate in the web page when he visits it. It will only stop the browser from keeping a history. IE when you click the pull down on the address bar it would be blank. And when you type a url it won't auto complete with sites you have recently visited. It also only applies to IE.

So this might have been answered already, but a quick search yielded no results. Every time I log into TER my handle is clearly available in the form. I still have to enter in my password, but my screen name is already filled out. And it does not matter what device I am on, whether it be my computer, iphone or ipad, it is always there. Is there anything I can do to stop that. For personal reasons I would rather not have evidence of my presence on this site be so readily available on my devices. I do not think it is a hardware issue due to the cross platform results, so in my somewhat amateur opinion it must be something to do with the actual site. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any info.

if for example you are using chrome on all those devices it will remember your login across platforms if you are logged into chrome. Safari and firefox have similar services.

I'm also using the 'new' TER, and there is a box underneath the login which you can check so it will remember your password.  Do you have that?  I never fill in my handle or password, it's already there.

gaining access to my personal e-mail .Go to tools/options/privacy then select: never remember history
Now its a pain but it will provide the level of security you desire, I believe
