...I'm an an odd place with this because I race sports cars.  The slogan goes, "Want to know how to make a small fortune racing cars?  Answer: start with a large one."  For example, I'm cutting way back on racing because, for example, a new set of tires for my car costs $1500 and they only last a weekend.  So now I'm about to blow thousands being a man-whore!  I guess I just found out being a man-whore is more important to me than going 180!  My racing buddies say racing's better than sex.  I beg to differ.

It's not even close.

But seriously, it is important to maintain some balance and not get too overextended.

The recession is taking a toll on my finances and I'm cutting back this coming year until rosier times prevail.

If I had any cheap hobbies it would be a first. Between this, scuba diving, motorcycles (riding and track days), wanting to learn to fly... It is always a balancing act.
