It's an attitude more than anything else. The time will be as if you were with your girlfriend.
Very generally it means you can expect to stay with her for the entire time you scheduled even if you have an orgasm 5 minutes after arriving. (Some will say it means you will get the chance to orgasm again later in the hour because she will allow it as a GFE provider. This isn't guaranteed however. Remember it's what she says it means.) I see GFE providers because I want that attitude. I check the providers reviews to see if the services I want are offered by her. I want a BBBJ, I want to DATY, I want to have intercourse with her ( with a condom), and I want she and I to kiss with our tongues involved. There are other things I like to do but these are the minimum I want in a session.
Again generally that is what a GFE provider will do. The only way to be certain you will get what you want is to read her reviews, both the general details and the juicy details. (Need VIP membership to do that.)
There were in the past and still are providers that expect you to leave once you had your orgasm no matter how much time you had scheduled with her. There are providers that don't allow more than one orgasm in a session. There are providers that use condoms for blow jobs. There are providers that don't kiss at all and those that don't kiss with tongue but will kiss. They are not generally considered GFE but they might call themselves that because they do this with a girlfriend attitude. Honestly that's a stretch as far as I'm concerned.
If you find providers that advertise as GFE come here and check their reviews to see if they fit your definition of GFE and if so go from there.
Some other thoughts: a few have said here that GFE includes anal intercourse. They (at least those that have posted such) are in the minority. None of the providers have concurred.
If you did a search here you probably found all I've said already stated in one way or another. You could try searching on other boards here on TER but what you will find is No consensus.
