So, after a lot of research and apprehension, I had my first hobbying experience last month - it went as well as I could've hoped. I have written up a review and am now researching what's next (I want to diversify my experience before going back for another go with my first provider)...
A few questions: - Will providers reject clients based upon WHO their references are? - Will providers refuse a return visit based upon who they are asked to be a reference to? On both of those, I'm basically asking if the women have a list (in their head) of other providers they do not wish to share clients with. Are there ones that just have a bad reputation?
Beyond that, there's a provider that interests me... location, offerings, reviews/ratings, etc. sound right for me, but her prices are just too good to be true. What reasons could there be for a provider having unbelievably LOW rates? Is she that horny? Is she having money problems? Is her incall place probably an absolute dump? I'm looking at it as a red flag and staying away for now, but wondering if I'm being unreasonable by doing that. I don't want to name names in a forum, but would be comfortable discussing specifics via private message or e-mail.
There are instances of provider rivalry so it's right that you are concerned about this. But I think providers look out for each other more often than not. Besides you don't have much of a choice since you only have the one experience.
As for a deal that looks TGTBT, can you provide a link? It is appropriate to ask more experienced hobbyists their opinions on provider's ads. You say her reviews are good. Are you satisfied that her reviews are legit? Why not PM a couple of the reviewers and ask them about her directly?
In NYC, there are a few fantastic providers who charge less than they could. They are beautiful, and provide great service in comfortable surroundings. They are rare, but they exist, so don't automatically blow this off - it could really be a great deal.
