Question: I understand fromboth experience and from many of the previous posts the importance of cleanliness on the part of both the lady and the gent. But how fresh is fresh? I live in a smaller city and usually have to drive one to two hours before I arrive at the lady's incall location. I always shower before leaving home. Not being a sweaty guy, should I shower again upon arriving at the incall?

if you aren't the type to work up a sweat just driving to your appt, then in my book you'd be fine.   I don't expect the gentlemen to arrive smelling like they stepped out of the shower ten minutes ago but it should be evident that the shower was recent.

Skin is responsible for removing a tremendous amount of waste from the body.  Two hours cooped up in pants is not fresh.  Even if it's just a quick rinse with extra attention to the essentials it will be greatly appreciated... and likely rewarded.

if you turned them around.

If I just drove two hours to see you... would you want ME to shower before going down??

Methinks you would!

I work in food service and there are some tasks where we wear gloves.  Honestly, this is only for the perception of the customer.  There is very little we do that good, clean hands aren't enough.  We still wash our hands before and after putting the gloves on.  Health deparments look for hand washing, not glove use.

The point being, even if I showered and took a 20 minute drive I'm still going to jump in.  In my limited experience so far it is appreciated and sometimes rewarded.

Yes shower when you arrive..Especially if you have been driving a long time in the summer! But honestly, a client should ALWAYS jump in and freshen himself up. We appreciate it!

Best to do so, even if you showered beforehand.  If not, and you are comfortable with your hygiene status, your call as to whether you need to do this again...

Fine Dining restaurants routinely molest your food with their bare heads. Temperature-checking is done bare-handed, and food is placed attractively with bare hands.

If you're squeamish about bare hands, don't go to a top restaurant.
